Not working with 3ds max 2021 and the script does not load the folder and does not create the shader.

i've downloaded the plugin from their website but my shader won't pop up when i click " create shader " . When i try to recreate it by hand in 3dsmax, the result are far less good than in substance, this is unfair.

It should work fine to find your maps if you are exporting the maps from Substance using Corona or V-Ray settings!

When it's working, it's really cool, but I don't understand why, but it worked only one time and not ever more. Right now, the plugin never detect any maps., so it's impossible to create shader.

It should work! But the 3ds max has now and direct connection with Substance!

I see you are using png 8 bits for texture output... I was told to use the same by my supervisor at work, before I tried to be fancy and use tiff and 32 bits, the rendering in 3ds max with vray and arnold was very bad, so I now too stick to use png 8 bits and adjust the colour space/gamma at the open file section accordingly... but I just want to know why the bad renderings happened before with tiff 32 bits...

Hi, yes Substance Painter changed lot's of stuff with new versions. I know that max and substance have some plugin that connect directly, I need to look more into that and come back with a new video. I saw that if you save for Corona you will able to make what I did in this video!

you need to make sure that when you export Textures from Substance you all set your V-Ray for export!
