You could tell by the look on Tae”s face (and Suga and Jungkook) that he was thrilled to hear her say that. I also noticed that they all ADORED Teacher Iris....and she adored them! When they all got back to the dorm and did their routine from what they learned from Teacher Iris and judged each other, they won! Suga was so happy and proud and surprised when she wrote a line for him! Aaaiiiiieeee!!! I think I’ll go back and watch it again since I’m on lockdown and bored to death. Jin and Jimin both have the highest notes while V has the biggest range, meaning he deadass can growl in some songs and then hit that stigma high note. Jungkook has the most stable voice as well.

Jimin is known for his high notes. He's amazing and talented, but I think he's struggling with it a little when it's really live because of the pressure. There are a lot of better LIVE performances then those. Without any background vocals like in this video. I don't think they lipsync tho (what is pretty common in kpop), just using bv. You should check out their MMA 2019 performance (It's a Korean award show). It's dope, trust me!

v often hits notes just as high as jimins, but it tends to sound a bit lower because his vowels have a darker tone to them and it stands out a bit more in contrast to his deeper voice, so he does have a very unique feel in that sense. jimins vowel placement is very forward and bright, so he sounds higher. he gets more high notes in songs because he has a naturally higher tenor voice. jungkook and jin aslo get a lot of high notes, but this video didnt really have many from them. im sure there are better compilations out there. btw since you didnt seem to sure about what falsetto means, its a term used in music to describe males' head voices. basically, when men sing high notes, they adjust the placement of the muscles and vocal folds in their throat to change the way the note comes out. its often described as directing the sound out of your head or face which is why its called a head voice (as opposed to chest voice which is directed from a lower placement in the throat which feels like its being directed from the chest) women do it too, but the term is mostly used for male singers. sorry about the long rambling comment. just thought i'd clear stuff up (also sorry if the terms i used were too technical or unfamiliar. i tried to describe things in the most non-musician friendly way but im not great at explaining things so it might not have been the most helpful thing in the world lol)

If I’m not mistaken, Jin is the one who can hit the highest notes, but they mostly use Jimin’s in their songs. It’s totally okay to have a favorite singer in bts because it’s your opinion and bts’ vocal line is unique enough to allow that. Tae (V) definitely has the widest range (my dreams are made of his lower range), Jungkook has the most stable voice and can sound great with any genre, Jin’s voice is sweet and clear, and Jimin’s has the most unique coloring and is super bright. Fun fact: jimin is my favorite vocalist even though Jin is my bias ☺️

And, yes. Jimin sings the most of their hight notes but interesting enough Jin has the highest voice actually! Jungkook and Jimin are kinda main singers (as I've mentioned in another comment), so they are doing hight notes the most. Also, Jimin is really good at seemingly going into falsetto, so that's probably why they use him the most for it. His vocal colour is very unique and brings a special quality to those notes :) P.S.: Taehyung (V) and Jimin have some of the most unique voices in kpop and dare I say the music industry 😊

I’m kinda pissed at how often they didn’t also mention Jungkook when they show so many parts of him and Jimin harmonizing while hitting those crazy high notes. For new ARMYs who can’t tell them apart by their looks and voices, it’s just unfair since it may seem like Jimin gets all the credits. (Don’t get me wrong, I love Jimin! Excuse me guys, but in Boy in Luv that is Jimin's high note. Maybe you think it's JK because they ALWAYS show his face and NOT Jimin's if you want to talk being fair. Pamela Cunningham I understand what you mean but I want to say that my comment about Jungkook not being mentioned was just an example. I love all of them and as I already said, it’s not Jimin’s fault. I’m just sick of some videos being biased. They show so many parts of their bias but leave out other members. Just an example, in many appreciating videos, they don’t show Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok or Yoongi as often as the maknae line even though we should appreciate every member because all of them are amazing, talented people. Again, it’s the fault of the video creators. I love every member and I just wished people would stop making super obvious biased videos and title it as an OT7 video. Jimin gets to sing the higher notes because his voice is normally higher. His highnotes sound higher because of his tone, but for example jungkook can sing the same notes, but it doesn’t sound the same becasue jungkook has a different tone. Theyre all AMAZING singers but my favourite is Jungkook teehee🥰. He has such nice and breathy voice and he can change it SO much while still keeping the breathiness😭. V normally cover the deeper ranges and has the widest range of all the vocalists, Jimin normally sings in a upper/high range, Jin also sings in the medium/high range (normally he sing medium in ballads because of his honey tone), and Jungkook sing in the medium range normally and is the main vocalist because he has the most stable voice, he also sings in the high ranges too. They all have crazy range tho and always switch it up.

Jimin is my bias and I get sooooo excited seeing others get excited over his voice. I agree Tae (V) has the most unique voice of them all. His speaking voice is very deep and low like yours so it’s amazing to hear him hit those notes. This is a tricky question/topic, only because there are different singing types. Jin is a tenor and hit a F#5! in Dionysis. As a tenor, that's 6 times (I think) higher than his range is supposed to be. I also read that it was this high note that got him recognized by the Grammy panel as a "Silver Voice" and was the highlight of their last album. I could be mistaken, but he has also hit the highest recorded note of all members in "Dream Glow"(G5 Mixed) but don't take my word on it. I agree completely though, they are ALL amazing vocalists and have their strengths. Jimin is a falsetto singer and can easily hit "high falsetto notes", I don't doubt he has hit an A before. However Jin can hit in all ranges, and as a tenor , that's impressive. He wasn't a natural singer and was shaped to belt notes, not necessarily "sing" them, so I would say he (Jin) was molded to hit the notes that others can't and along the way learned to "sing"??? Regardless, Go Vocal Line!!!

Tae has the widest vocal range in BTS. He can hit notes deeper than the ocean and hit notes higher the sky. He has such a beautiful voice that is so unique and honey like. I love it. In their older songs he would even growl but now he doesn’t do it much which is fine because a lot of people would say that’s all he could do but he has so much to offer. Come back home is an old Korean hip-hop song that BTS remixed in their own way and the original singers invited them to their concert to sing Come back home with their brand new version, this song is a really like old school type of music, and it's actually really good and the rap and singing (as always) are really amazing

Though some people might disagree I would say that in general the highest to lowest in terms of vocal tone is Jimin, Jin or Jungkook, and then V. But all members can hit high and low notes of course.

Jimin does hit a lot of the high notes. But Jin has the highest BTS note. He maintained a G5 in their song Crystal Snow. He also has a really full voice so he's like the belter. Like think power balladier. So when you hear a high note in the back of a song, it's probably going to be Jimin or Jin (you can usually tell the difference because Jimin has a gorgeous little tremble or fry on the end of his notes). If it's a run with a bunch of notes in rapid succession, it's probably Junkgook. And V can hit high notes too but his vowels are much darker than the others' so he's easy to tell. You'll be able to pick them up eventually. But I would recommend not just assuming it's Jimin--it's him a lot--but it's Jin a lot these days too. :)

I think some people in the comments really mixed up "head voice" also known as falsetto to the "belting voice" Jimin mostly uses his falsetto while Jin mostly uses his belting voice. It is actually harder to control your belting voice than your falsettos. So falsetto voices are more often heard than belting voices. What i love about BTS vocal lines is that each of them have their own flavor and color. My preference is Jin's voice.

In terms of vocals BTS has a wide range of singers with unique talents and diverse sounds: Jungkook is an extremely stable singer, regardless of how complex and tiring the choreography is it doesn't come through in his voice, he does incredible adlibs and has a very wide range-- his solo part in On was originally down the octave, but when the producers realised he could hit it even higher and so they went with it. Jimin has a bright and unique tone and a very high-range, some people have called him a counter-tenor which basically means he can hit notes well into the more traditionally female vocal range. He also tends to change up how a song is sung for different performances by using falsetto, growl or vocal fry to change up his style. Jin has a very smooth tone, he annunciates beautifully and also has the highest belting voice in the group, he is very stable vocally and wonderfully emotive in how he performs. His triple high-note in crystal snow, his falsetto section in Come Back Home and his borderline-metal high note in Dionysus are the cause of regular breakdowns on twitter. V (also known as Taehyung) is a baritone, a very low voice, which is comparatively rare in mainstream music. He has one of the widest vocal ranges in K-Pop overall. He is infamous for his growl verses, but also has proven that he can sing opera with zero prompting. He has a very strong falsetto and adds a beautifully rich and deep vocal colour to songs. You honestly don't have to memorise any of this and I'm not sure if you'll actually see this, but the more time you spend with BTS the easier it will be to tell them apart by their faces, their voices, styles and movements. I've been in the fandom for about a year and a half and I went from not being able to recognise anyone but RM to being able to differentiate any of them in a split second from about five centimetres of skin or a vague shadow. This is inaccurate if you mean hitting the highest notes. His voice is very bright and colorful so his notes appear to sound really high compared to JK or V hitting the same note. However, the one who has hit the highest SINGING notes is Jin, although he doesn't do it as often. Also, the one who has hit the highest note (not singing note, just belting out) out of all of them is V (D6) which is INSANE considering he's a baritone. Tbh, they're all insane with how well they bend their voices to fit whatever style they sing. Jimin and V do have the most unique voices, very distinct in the industry. JK stable king. actually Jin had the highest mix when singing but he mostly hit high notes only in recording like Dionysus bc it literally is too high (its possible for him to hit it live but the choreo is too intense and he had to do sing a different line). im just so proud of this man's transformation

Now about the biggest range. PLEASE CLEAR UP THE MISCONCEPTIONS. Biggest range is of BOTH JIMIN and JUNGKOOK. Jimin can hit 28 notes starting from as low as A2 and ending at highest of Bb5. Jungkook can also hit 28 notes starting from as low as G2 and ending at highest of A5. Taehyung has 2nd biggest range as he can sing 27 notes starting from G2 and ending at G5. Now I know a lot of people think that his lowest note is an Eb2 but NO, he can speak that low but when he sings that low it doesn't sound like singing, so he sings perfectly from a G2 note only and therefore his range starts from G2 and ends at G5. Jin can sing 24 notes starting from B2 and ending at G5. AGAIN, ALL OF THEM ARE AWESOME BUT JUST BASED ON FEW OLD VIDEOS WHICH WERE NEVER ANALYSED, DON'T ASSUME AND MISINFORM OTHERS. Jin's highnotes has so much sweetness in it, you feel them in your heart. Jk&Jimin's highnotes makes the song. V's highnotes has impact and takes you by surprise. This video didn't showcase that unfortunately,, it didn't show when JK harmonizes with Jin and Jimin in lots of places, and only included V's highnote in stigma... when you are a new ARMY you won't get each member's flavour and tone from this video. The thing is that many of the members can hit the most of the same notes as Jimin but his tone is crisper in his upper register. (As a vocalist myself I geek over all of their vocal talents lol.) Compilations like these are cool but when listening to BTS's discography, you see more of each members showing off their high notes in the backgrounds, not necessarily in the climactic high notes that Jimin often sings.

Haha i was really lost when i first knew BTS like really lost. But dont worry, soon you will be a army with great knowledge on them. Armys might seem scary but i will tell you that armys will help other armys and we will always be nice to each other. Haha I have been a fan of them since 2016 and their music is really inspiring and truely different, which sets them apart from other bands or singers. Through their eyes, expressions, love, i can feel that this is the message they wanted to bring about all along. To love yourself.
