@ExperiMentalDon3 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah. I do speedcubing, and it's the same thing. WRs get broken, and people talk about it saying "(xyz person) beat the world record by an insane margin of 0.07 seconds." I think it's just that as someone gets closer to the "fastest possible," even the small time differences are massive relatively speaking.

Let’s put it this way, 10 hours compared to 9 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds, is a lot different to 5 seconds compared to 4 seconds Now if you picture that as margin of error or margin for improvement, even a tiny jump, relatively, is significant.

My part was very easy to include but it would have thrown the flow off your video. I made the frankenturret boost consistent by testing the frankenturret jumps over the monitor with its legs out and finding out the right timing, and krzyhau discovered what caused it's legs to stay open, and the frankenfootlong was made. I also added the fizzler boost with the cube to take the first 1:06 before I rewrote the demo, now all I have is two recordings of when I had world record around then. I'm glad runners improved past this point, the video turned out much better than it would have if you left this out back then. It was disappointing to see my name squelched from this, good luck making better friends of people whose story you're telling.
