But I want to make it a bit more interesting this time around. Can a warehouse be rushed through using no weapons or protection? What about just a hammer? What about weapons allowed but only sprinting? Can I defeat the tapebots?!

Well personally I almost cleared an entire big warehouse with only my hammer (because I was unprepared and had quickly run out of ammo ^^). After like 50 attempts I finally resigned because it was getting pretty late. Finished it another day with spuds. But sill I cleared multiple floors with only my hammer. That was painful :).

Actually minecraft rtx on 2080 ti max settings will give only 60-70 fps without any tnt explosion or anything. I am just a little pc enthusiast. I actually know why his pc is lagging. Cuz his hardware is a 1070 ti and i7 7700k. And he's running dual monitors. So if he disconnects one of his monitors or just simply upgrade his pc then it won't lag.🙂

Hey Scrapman, i heard on Reddit that by placing a few plants out of the walls with no protection makes the lag stop. i was told that this is because it makes the bots pathfinding to the plants easier. i am not entirely sure if this works or not, but you should give it a go.

The part where you died on "nothing" (around 18:20), you were actually squished between two parts, but you were still getting momentum from the game's point of view, so when you got unstuck you had a load of momentum that then transfered into fall damage. It's weird, yes but you just have to be careful for that not to happen to you

I've experimented with the warehouses a lot. The massive cylinder type things that are the floors that you see on the outside are actually solid with nothing in them. The elevator actually stays completely still and the walls move down so that it looks like you are moving up. Then it teleports you to the actual warehouse interior which is a completely different place with a different elevator. That is why it lags when you get to new floors. It has to load them in separately. That is also why the lift was only in the elevator when it reached the second floor. To test all this out all you have to do is get in the elevator, place a lift with a toilet seat on it, get in the toilet seat and lift the elevator up until you go through the roof. You can also try jamming the door with blocks.

You should put the rag doll defense on an angle so that they all get rag dolled into the center, you can make a farmbot killing machine... like putting a mountable spud gun on a timer and then letting it shoot all the farmbots that roll into the center. (Like so scrapman can see!)

Idea for base: 1. Build walls around the farm. 2. Build an overhanging balcony along the outside of walls. 3. Place pistons underneath the balcony. 4. Build flat panels under the pistons(make sure they're separate from each other). Advantages: Crushes bots that come underneath as well as those that walk onto the panels. Each panel having only one piston makes the system less likely to glitch out.

If you detach the encryptor it does nothing, it just keep the warehouse encrypted (I tried) but if you go in Dev. Mode you can do the " Decrypt " command to decrypt and loot the warehouse

Ok I'm just gonna go around all the youtubers and explain exactly how these "glitchy" farmers work. When you initially come acroas them you cant take them into your inventory. You have to manually pick them up and deliver them to rhe trader. After they respawn you can just take them into your inventory.

My wife and I cleared a 4 level warehouse with only hammers and baguettes a few days ago. She just got her 1st spud gun yesterday and I should be getting mine today. We acquired the warehouse key by trapping the farmbot in pink chemical pool and using a mounted spud gun on our vehicle. 😊

Eyo, Scrapman, when you use the elevator, you aren't actually moving in the elevator, the walls just have a sliding animation attached to them so that it gives the illusion of you moving up. Thats why your bag icons are still in the same place even though the elevator is on. The elevator is meant to serve as a sort of loading screen, and when the next floor of the warehouse is loaded, you're teleported to the floor and the assets load in. The reason why your lift broke the elevator is because of the way the loading works. When the elevator teleports you to the next floor, since there can only be 1 lift to 1 player, the lift has to go to the next floor aswell, and that kinda broke the teleportation position. The reason why the way the elevator works like that is due to optimizations that allow you to run the game without tons of frame drops and unused resources, kinda like how your wocs escaped their pens

Hey Scrapman! Need help fixing your lag during a raid? Place some vulnerable crops outside of your base that the bots can path to easily. Apparently a lot of the lag is the game figuring out pathing for each bot. Also, the toilet is your friend. Place you toilet on your lift at the edge of a tall building, then pick up your lift and hop in. Remember to flush when you land. Try making an "open" front base with your bounce castle as a defence. That way the bots path into it easier, could also make it so that they all group up, letting you have a smaller bouncer. Haven't tested that myself, just a thought. Happy Scrappin!

Hey scrapman you need to get explosives and goback to the Warehouse that you cleared out get to the loot room there is a increpter behind the wall that you need explosives to destroy the walls. P.S there is two increpter the first increpterone is to not show any connection to the connection tool in the Warehouse the second increpter is to not allow you to pick up any blocks in the Warehouse, Make sure to use the explosives.

I think that not being allowed to block with your hammer is excessive. For a no-weapons run, the rule should just be no damaging or killing Tapebots. Blocking what they shoot at you should be allowed.

Scrapman, you can build a small platform on the lift on top of the roof and fill that with all the ramps and other blocks you want. just build outwards on the lift then remove it. All the items fall down and if you also add a seat you can drop down with it! :)

Scrapman, a speed run is just getting through the warehouse as quick as possible, so YOU COULD HAVE JUST THE VENTS DUDE!!!!! Lol 😂

Hol up, at around 8:00 your hammer did in fact deflect a tape shot, but with 2 Tapebots you can't swing fast enough to defend. Seriously, there needs to be a heavy shield you can use that stops you from moving when you deploy it and maybe reduces movement speed when equipped. I think that'd make this kinda thing better, just that you slide backwards a bit with each impact, the distance being determined by the impact strength, so the Haybot would throw you back a little ways, the Totebot would be unable to move you, the Tapebot would be able to nudge you backwards (that tape is a light projectile but its small size and high speed deals focused damage) but the Harvest Bot's scythe would chuck you back a long way. That'd be cool.

When the bouncer killed that one Haybot near the end, the same phenomena that killed you in the vents killed the Haybot. In both situations, the entity in question got _pinched,_ which we can say is when it gets crushed by the smallest surface area. In that case, it managed to get caught between the bouncer and something else, probably the wall, and it ended up getting crushed. You should test that theory by letting them sit on the bouncer for a while during a raid, see if they all get killed by the bouncer alone.

Make the wire mesh checkered by removing every other block of it, that way you can access dropped items from top, and the bots aren't big enough to fall threw single blocks.

Test if bots can trigger sensors. Put sensors around farm connected to bouncy pad. That way if you never make it in time to your farm, it auto activates the rag dollinh

22:40 scrapman! There's a door that needs a warehouse key, so technically you can go to the last floor from the top without completing the whole warehouse and dying a bunch. But it may not seem honest

ScrapMan, when mod support comes out for survival, i recommend getting a crafting mod for survival because it will let you make component kits. You can make 5 component kits with 5 circuit boards, 5 metal 1 and 1 chemical (the mod is called Crafting+)

A good upgrade would be a manual crusher so when all the farmbots are on you can press a switch and crush them, sparing ammo and saving the frames quicker.

Seems like the hammer only method would work, if you threw enough bodies at it. The run and gun method probably work better with the shotgun. If you use the normal spud gun should probably be something like quick scope shots only.

Hey scrapman I figured out that if you explode the wall to the right of the room with the orange light there is the wire encrypter that lets you access the wires in the where house and if you go into the blue room and explode the left wall there is the block encrypter which lets you acces the blocks and items in the where house, if you want scrapman himself to see this like the comment so it goes near the top of the comment list. I hope scrapman sees this!!!!!!

Idea to make warehouses easier. Try putting a bed on a lift in the warehouse so you can spawn closer to where you died.

I’m pretty sure you already know this but you can bust open the blank wall when you get to the treasure room in the warehouse just blow it up with large explosions
