yea..i started getting a little tired of hearing about the situation honestly, i mean he wasnt the greatest person obviously and he wasnt the only one that died that day...i saw that a lot of people got tired of it and started talking shit..but as a basketball player most of my life, i mean kobe inspired so many athletes to become basketball players..and that doesnt sound like much, but a lot of those kids would probably be dead or in jail if it wasnt for kobe..ya know what i mean? they stayed off the streets, in the gym trying to hit fade aways..just like the generation before with jordan. the end of this video def had me in the feels. im glad it was just highlights and not the crash shit

Sport is about passion, toughness, pain, skill and so much more. Mt.Everest like highs one moment, Death Valley lows the next. Sport at its best, transcends emotion, at it's worst, exposes man's' inhumanity to man. Your video is a masterful montage of all that sport encompasses, the good, bad and the ugly. Well done. Thoroughly engaging, a microcosm of why sport is so beloved in all of society.

@hell no that aint cool sure, a lot of athletes now are about the money... But you have guys like Kobe Bryant, Derick Jitter, Joe Montana, Dale Earnhardt, etc, who did what they did for the passion, the love, the pain, and, most important, for the fans... When you have these kids out there now, crying over a broken nail, the greats that I have mentioned, competed through the pain... Why? Because they loved what they did... And *THAT* is what made them great...

In my many years of not only watching but also creating KZbin content, Joseph Vincent is undoubtedly the most underrated KZbinr I've seen, and on top of that, he might be the best editor the platform has to offer.
@SandSeven4 жыл бұрын
The editing @25:09 is the best clip of Lamar Jackson's epic run I've seen on KZbin, Sportscenter, or anywhere for that matter. It's the attention to detail that makes the editing next level. Pay attention to the use of slow motion and normal speed in clip as well as the 3 different angles showing the spin move. It's about as visually perfect a take on any highlight you'll see. But the real genius behind the editing is how Joseph Vincent uses the audio to make even the most iconic highlights feel new and refreshing. The Lamar Jackson highlight has one of the best calls you'll here an announcer make, and Vincent uses that to go next level. It's all about the little details like the pause after the announcer yells, "Oh..." to show the spin move from multiple angles and multiple speeds creates a heightened anticipation to hear, "Oh...he broke his ankles!" The devils in the details, and the more you pay attention to the editing, the more appreciation you'll have for what Joseph Vincent adds to the highlights we've all seen over and over for years.

After all this time I still STILL shed tears everytime I see something about Kobe. It's incredible. He's been my favorite player since watching him as a rookie and you had to wait all game for him to come off the bench. He was fuckin electric and was the main reason why I followed the NBA and the main reason why I don't now and only really watch the playoffs. His death felt like losing a close family member and it still gets to me especially me having a daughter the same age as Gigi. Crazy

I've always been a hockey/soccer guy, and disliked Basketball. But then I saw a video on the sports with the least luck involved, and it talked about how the rate of scoring in basketball makes it lower on the "luck" factor that sports with low scoring like soccer and hockey. That makes a lot of sense, and it started to get me liking basketball a bit more.

I saw events in this video that took me back to my younger days growing up.. to current events this past Superbowl. What a amazing journey you took the viewers on with all the glories portrayed in this film 🎥.. especially Kobe, that choked me up because I will always love him and the Lakers. Watching the raw emotions of every part of this video sure did make me appreciate i am still alive battling my disease and that I am able to enjoy and watch things like this no matter how bad my day is going or how much pain I am in.
