That was some big brain play from Lui, but can we talk about Towa reverse-baiting everyone when she said she thought Lui was innocent for being alone on 5? That really threw Pekora off her suspicion and I don't think Lui would have won if not for that. Truly TMT being helpful to the player at the disadvantage.

She was metagaming too much. She was the one who got Korone voted out so Towa was sure there was only one impostor left. And at that stage of the game it would be really risky for an impostor to go off on their own and raise suspicion. More often than not, the play would be to stay with the group and try to get them to turn on one another by using others as an alibi.

The first person who stops arguing their point and starts saying "trust me" loses. I've watched many Holo Amogus and Marine is terrible at this, she swaps to begging really quickly. Against Lui who remains calm, she stood no chance. hehe To her credit, she swung it a bit in her favour by pushing for passing for task completion (almost certainly the correct strategy) but then lost it by begging.

I'm 99% certain it was for entertainment purposes. It sounds like Pekora pitched it and Marine caught it. She switched her arguments 180 right after the "Convince me, Marine" from Pekora. What I'm not sure is if Pekora calling a meeting to say she finished her tasks despite having 5 tasks left, which single-handedly lost that them that round, is also her trying to make things fun or just genuinely being dumb. And I'm leaning towards the latter.

In the base game, giving a logical argument tends to appear more truthful than begging. If you are playing with friends, you would also all have an advantage of knowing each others strengths and weaknesses, which adds another layer of information you need to consider.

She's not in a secret society for nothing! thank you for the great highlight, the editing was top notch! this game actually reminds me a lot of pekora's solo impostor win(with towa) back in 2020. In that game both towa and pekora were impostors, and pekora pulled off the win very similarly to how Lui did in this game. Its funny how towa and peko's roles got reversed this time around, and instead they were the crew members being duped into voting the wrong person off when it mattered.

Funniest part is the correct move at the end would have been to pass and just keep sticking together. If you know korone was one imposter, that means whoever is left can only kill 1 out of 4 people, but if you make it 1 out of 3 it's an instant loss.
