do they only hif topwater primarily? or do they hit cut bait like catfish? im in md . United states.do you catch a few fish per day? or days without a bite.i just bass fish here.its all we have its a tiny lake 90 acres. but uts 5 min away.its a state park. i might sheet my self landin one if those murrays beasts ..my tackle is so light.its a tiny rod under 6 ft with 6# 16:31 line.a bug fish for me is 13 in..alot if dinks under 10 in. 1 time a month if im lucky a bass thats 2 or 3 lbs....but it gets me out of the house..
