My mom and stepdad went on an Impractical Jokers Cruise before covid; after meeting all of them, she says Joe was the most personable and exactly like he seems on the show. Also, the host Casey was another of her favorites when she would catch him out. Q was very reserved and rarely seen; before going on the cruise, he had been my mom’s favorite on the show. Murr was very different in person from what you see on the show. I guess he’s sort of the brains of the operation, very type A personality, not the quirky whipping boy you see on IJ.

Went to see them live in grand rapids, MI and Joe was about to leave in their car after the show but he saw a bunch of people waiting around at the fenced off areas and he came and spent like 30min going through and shaking hands and talking with people and taking pictures with everyone (pre-covid obviously). Would have been totally understandable for him to be exhausted and want to take off right away but he came through and talked to everyone including our group and is legit such a down to earth guy

Joe is definitely the unofficial leader of the jokers. He seems to always call the shots. Remember the prank when they turned a prank into Sal’s punishment? When the Q & Murr asks can we do that & asks isn’t that against the rules, Joe replies what r u talking about we are the rules.
