I worked on a golf course when I was with a landscaping company and a lot of golfers are so Insanely serious about their games. I remember my crew had a guy yell at us after his tee off that we were making too much noise, even though we turned off our blowers and sat there waiting. (He was most likely just using us as an excuse for him being bad at golf)

This pretty much describes the majority of golfers. "Important" people play the game but have heavily invested social capital in the game to the point there is very strange etiquette among golfers including saving face when they are playing poorly instead of taking criticism and improving.

This is one of my FAVORITE Sal punishments, he nailed it. I love the game, played all my life so the golfers reactions are so real. I watch this scene every time I see it, rerun. I can watch Jokers all day, they are awesome and truly make me laugh. Sal was perfect for this role. He is a magician. The ending is beautiful how he bonded with the guy who was VERY COOL to Sal.
