There was a cat down the road on a different street from me and It use to follow me all the way to my house and run in and up the stairs amd sit on my bed. A couple times it tried following me on to the train when going to my friends for a smoke. I had to miss my train to stop it. Horrible thinking that a family may have never seen their cat again just because it wanted to follow some stoner onto a train 😆 awesome cat though we named him Marley because he always came down to see us at the train station when we were getting high in the shelter.

I notice that the cat's left ear was tipped which in America means that it's been spayed/neutered. A cat came to live with me after the people who were feeding him moved away. I used to see him on the next street sometimes out in front of the house and then one day I saw him there after the house was empty. Within a few weeks he found my house complete with a doggy door so he could help himself. My cats didn't mind as long as he left after he ate but then one day I put food out for him to see if he would let me pet him. It took about three days and he was really hungry so he stiffened up but relaxed after a minute. The next day when I got home he was hiding under my bed with all my cats gathered around glaring at him. He was a good cat.

TheDoge777 That is a possibility, but it's not right to assume then automatically take animal off the street. It's very common for people to own indoor and outdoor cats. It's even more common for cats that are allowed outdoors to wander around. If someone takes the cat home they need to at least put up found cat posters, and try and locate the owner. I've seen people lose their cats before when somebody assumes it's a stray and just decides that it's their cat now.
