Love Mitsouko. It’s an introspective and transportive perfume. It was really dense and confusing for me at first, but it took me about a year to really understand.

It’s definitely one of those perfumes that requires a lot of attention and effort from the wearer. Pure bliss after you’re in sync with it! 🥰

How can you pronounce all the french names so well and then say EXTRACT for extrait and BergamoNt for bergamot?

That’s a good question! 😂 I suppose I have a subconscious fear of coming across as “pompous” and I try to say whatever can be “translated” to English in English. 😅 But thank you for pointing it out! I’ll leave that fear behind and just pronounce everything as supposed to. 🥰

I had to do a double take when I saw this video, because I thought surely you'd already reviewed Mitsouko! I'm so thankful I was able to try the Extrait version, because I found it much more wearable (for me) than the EDT. It's a mood.

It’s 100% a mood! Interesting that Guerlain had this logo for Mitsouko; “Are you her type?” Mitsouko really chooses the wearer!

The best way to preserve the cord is if you lift up the metal clasp slowly and undo the knot and try to wrap it around the neck of the bottle again after. But it’s impossible to keep it looking that way if you want to open it unfortunately. :/
