That’s so kind of you!! Thank you! 🥰 I actually got recently a bottle of the Parfum and of the Elixir. I already knew and loved the Parfum, it was just a matter of time until getting it. The elixir I also fell in love with! The opening is soft, delicate but overtime it gets very animalic. I found it to be one of the most animalic of all from this line. But not in a “dirty” way but rather a musky, realistic take on what you’d smell the skin of a panther.. it has a stronger “vintage” vibe to it as well. it’s beautiful!

@irinaivanovic9792 that’s a tough question because I’d normally say it depends on the day/weather and mood but thinking on the spot I’ll say Parfum/EDP/EDT. 😁

This one when I smell up close to my wrist too, I get the same reaction and it’s hard to process it because of the cumin as well, but the magic happens when you actually wear it and have it swirling around you. It’s just stunning! But smelling it super close it’s a challenge for me.. But I find the cumin dissipates quite a bit in the dry down. Thank you for your attention! 🥰

Good question! It was a vague comment indeed. I’m referring to the scent profile itself. I meant to say that I don’t get a whole lot more notes going on. There probably are, but what I truly get the most is Oud and Mint.

I’ve seen that too. It’s more common than many realize. I’m not a fan of anything counterfeited so personally speaking I wouldn’t buy any replica of anything. I’d rather not have that product than owing a replica for personal reasons and believes. But that’s me. People do what’s best for them. :)

That one is the bulb atomizer that came with a perfume from the L’Art et la Matière line by Guerlain. They phased them out a while ago unfortunately. :/ But you can probably find them elsewhere. It’s just a regular Bulb Atomizer :)

This evening I've been listening to a recent lecture by the fabled perfume connoisseur come perfumer Roja Dove called Fragrance Through the Decades. (Here on KZbin, at the fragrancefoundationuk). And at the 1:09 minute mark he arrives at Miss Dior, "a very beautiful perfume." Lo and behold - and i literally squealed with delight - Miss Dior was inspired by two perfumes: predictably, the original Chypre by Coty AND Vol de Nuit! I immediately stopped the video to let you know (and will continue the second hour tomorrow). If you haven't listened yet to this lecture, highly recommended. Dove used to have a perfumery on the top floor of Harrods (maybe he still does?), a secret den for us perfumistas. I visited in the early oughties. He had all the rare bottles, quite a few of which he showcases in this lecture, and knew all the stories. He ran his in-store boutique like a museum!
