CZ USA is in Kansas City. CZ-USA has it's own "CZ-USA Custom Shop" in Missouri that builds rifles for CZ-USA including the CZ 550 Safari and Tactical. Your pistol was built by CZ Custom which is a separate independent company that is in Mesa Arizona. They purchase pistols from CZ-USA and upgrade them. They also manufacture their own pistols like the A01 and Bull Shadow based on CZ parts. CZ Custom was founded by Angus Hobdell who was the captain of the CZ USA Shooting Team.

@KeanonGilliamSlang3694 жыл бұрын

First of all, I didn't even know you had a channel!!! Mind blown! Secondly, would you believe me if I told you I just picked this up LAST NIGHT?! I LOVE IT. Haven't shot it yet, but I can't wait to get it to the range this weekend. I'm not doing a review on it though. As I normally say, everything isn't for everyone one, but this is my new favorite. I happened to be searching for other videos on it and you popped up. Hahahaaha. I'm subbing. Gotta show you some love and check out your other videos! 😘🤙

I like it. My sp01 was my first too. I have been shooting it a lot recently. I like your trigger on that target 2.
@KeanonGilliamSlang3695 жыл бұрын
@BrianOnTheGo Thanks, the standard SP-01 has a nice trigger, some people hate the hook style trigger but it's no problem. The Shadow Target 2 trigger is ridiculously smooth, sights very well if I do my part.

How does a steel guide rod Aid in a "perfect lock up" ?
@KeanonGilliamSlang3694 жыл бұрын
@Erick R I know there isn't anything wrong with polymer guide rods and are very well proven. I've seen one bend/flex over time. I prefer the steel guide rod because of that reason and it adds a "little" weight.
@rockhead17314 жыл бұрын
@@KeanonGilliamSlang369 I agree steel guide rods are more durable and add weight to reduce recoil however I don't think it does anything for lock up . Spring tension forces the barrel rearward into locking lug or the breach depending on the recoil system. Tight Lockup is achieved through proper fitting of the barrel to the slide and or frame. I realize you are not a gunsmith or engineer and it's just a matter of semantics, but it irks me when people use improper terminologies or give ill-informed information regarding firearms (my problem not yours). Yes I can be a dick.. but a well-meaning dick who is trying to educate, not troll. Keep making videos keep shooting and keep on learning. I know I am 👍

Remember it’s European dates on the CZ factory target. Day/Month/Year so it’s the first day of November 2018 NOT January 1st. Also- CZ Custom is in Arizona.
Keanon Gilliam No problem. I travel to Europe often and the date thing drives me nuts. Most countries around the world put Day/Month/Year. Easier to identify when the day is greater than the 12th!! Thanks again for the video. I’m deciding between the Target 2 and the Shadow 2.

The factory test target doesn’t prove the accuracy of the gun. It’s more or less a function test what they do. Standard CZs shoot between 50 and 100mm at 25 metres (2-4“ at 25 yards) depending on the ammo used.
@KeanonGilliamSlang3694 жыл бұрын
Michael Ewert True, I just find it interesting though. Thanks for the distance information. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated!

Keanon Gilliam the german Caliber magazine tested the SP-01 Shadow from the Ransom Rest at 25 meters and got a group of 10 shots measuring 33mm or a little less than 1 5/16“ from the Magtech 115grs JHP. A remarkable result for affordable factory ammo. These pistols are the best buy at this price point.

You do realize those two guns are the exact same gun. For a couple hundred bucks ...okay maybe $400 you could have sent the original to a competent gunsmith put on a set of adjustable sights and do a trigger job and you have the exact same gun, the sights safety and spring kit would run you about $150-200 and the trigger job $200 give or take. The aluminum grips is what makes the new gun feel slimmer but they're both built on the same frame . They're both great guns I personally just wouldn't pay $1,200 to $1,500 a second time, for a gun I basically already owned.
@KeanonGilliamSlang3694 жыл бұрын
@Erick R Yes, I realize that. I wanted one that was completely stock and one that was already tuned up by the CZ Custom Shop. You're right, about the upgrades, started to do that but I like my stock one the way it is.Thanks for watching, greatly appreciated! 👍
