I bought a few days ago this android box and I'm impressed! Of course, it takes some time to adjust everything. But if you have knowledge this android box will become even more powerful. It has preinstalled Xposed (I was really happy to see that) but it's hidden, so you must install app like Titanium backup in order to open xposed installer. When you do that, you can install Xposed edge module which allows you to change commands on remote controler etc. Also, big cons (for me) is fact that you can't cast to youtube app unless you install app like KZbin TV or awesome Smart youtube app from aptoide store, then you can link youtube on your phone to youtube on A95x max. Remote controller works very well. It has 4 special buttons that are designed to be connected to a TV or sound system. So you can turn on, vol up & down or change input on your tv or sound system. Overall, it's an awesome android box. Works smooth and without lag. For now :) P.S. One more cons - led display is off on standby :(

I still don't understand the reasoning behind Netflix licensing. Anyone who signs in to Netflix is paying for the service! Why does Netflix care which device you use it on? Especially if the device is capable of streaming in HD up to 4K! Why diminish your customer's experience? I'm not sure if it's still the case but I was originally able to watch in HD on any browser on a Windows PC. It didn't matter what brand of PC I was using! Has anyone tried to see if going through a browser rather than the android app nets the same results, allowing the viewing of Netflix in HD on a box?

Digital Rights Management (DRM). People who provide content to Netflix want to be sure that thier content isn't copied by Netflix. Therefore, Netflix wants to be sure that the devices used to play that content are sufficiently locked down. They limit what devices have access to HD and UHD content to those locked down devices that are well controlled by the vendor and those that are more likely to have more viewers associated with them. Thus, BD players, TVs, and specialty media players get support. Devices that have limited control or recording capabilities do not.

As always another great review. There is no other channel that comes close to Chigz’s reviews. However, I might have missed this review doesn’t include if streaming from Netflix, Prime and all the other popular streaming sites operates and at what maximum resolution. I know I have heard Chigz say that he won’t be marking down tv boxes if they do not support Netflix yet run verified Google OS, it it would be nice to know as for me at least operating Netflix in particular is important. Yes, I know the info is also in Chigz’s spreadsheet on his webpage.

@@MoneyOverFame Have a major issue with Nvidia Shield and KODI. Prior to the last "Experience Upgrade" Kodi 17.6 worked perfectly with official, legal, KODI apps from the KODI official repository. After the "upgrade" KODI was automatically updated to 18.1 and every, and I do mean every, official KODI addon will only play for 15-30 seconds and then the video/audio freezes HOWEVER the closed captions continue to run. I uninstalled KODI, reinstalled KODI V17.6 only to have the Nvidia Shield automatically "update" to 18.1 on the next boot. My understanding is you can only disable ALL app updates which IMO is rather useless.

Bro all contents of netflix and amazon are available on HD on these boxes for free..just Using few non official apks. Even free iptv.. I myself installed those apps and almost all content of netflix etc is there that also for free. I cut my cable connection now I watch everything for free.. .. But be careful since these apps can be shut anytime.. But who cares obviously they are free . You can get many such apps but sideload them using aptoide etc or directly from browser they are not available on playstore

I have this box and using wireless bluetooth game controller on it. How do you get to the top of the page inside of movies apps like Cinema HD? Can't get there to choose between movies or tv categories. The remote that comes with the box isn't that great as far as the cursor.

did you try to install (( Air Screen APK )) and try the Mira cast function ?!! because some android tv boxes come without a specific apk for mirroring but after you install that app and try then you will find out that the mirroring function is there and it's working.
