C pillar builds are the coolest. The more people you can give demos to at once, the faster you spread badass audio to the masses. His low-end extension isn't quite as good what I would personally want, but it's good enough for normal music, and not everything has to be rebassed or decaf'd to hell, y'know? If it were me, I'd be good with a 150-155 if it could slam 25-65hz instead of 35-75hz. Either way, it's gonna be hard to get midbasses to keep up unless you EQ the subs to have a -10db per octave drop starting from 25-30hz and up, and even then, if you hit a 150 at 25-30hz and by extension (and correct for equal loudness to the human ear) a 140 at 50-60hz, it's gonna be tough for mid basses to drop a 130 at 100-120hz unless you have two 8s or a 12 per side. Let alone if you murder 155s or 160s at 25-30hz. Hell, if you scale to the equal loudness curve (as you should for SQ) and your low lows on the subs can hit 160s, then you're gonna start having trouble finding midRANGES that can keep up at 200-240hz trying to drop a 120-130db. Not to mention how anything over about 110db at 500-1000hz is gonna be quickly damaging to your ears.

Most people hear 163 db but really do not understand how much work and just the right thinking and know how it takes to get to that insain level of audio perfection . Holy shit thats Loud As Fuck! P.S. anything around that 25-42 hrz range is gonna be insainly hard to make loud you feel it more then you hear it almost ..thats why low feq sounds travel far and high freq range do not travel that far ... I have studied sound waves and sound for over 25 years . Car audio is complex and does not work in the same manor as in your home or a stadium or concert hall ..

Nice build. I was wondering what connectors he was using coming off his alts for the zero gauge. I’d like to redo my connections due to it pushing on a vacuum tube between the motor and alt. Thanks for posting your videos Jacob, always top notch.

Does polyfill kill your high end in 4th orders? Wondering to save space and still get really low on sealed side. Or would it kill it if your trying to get windy 20hz range too would polyfill help or decrease the wind on low 🤔

Beware of the heat build up inside the sealed section when using poly or other materials similar to poly fill. In my experience it affects the punch of the sub...

I justed installed spl build in my 90 yugo but installing alts no space the car is a true jem im running 6.. 15 sundowns sa on 6k amp but installing 4.... 270 ces alts no space for them... help me ... with this im in utah im mormon... im stupid ... and fat ....save me....im lost in life

Why do you need 4 alts for a 6k amp? 1 270 amp alt and 4 arm batteries or a handful of lithium and you should be good. I had a real similar setup as you, but 6 Skar ddx’s 15s on 6k. My single mechman kept current to the 4 xs d3100. Voltage always stayed in the 12s
