Compared to other Cobra videos it really seems like his tires have very little grip. He's going lock to lock on every second corner. Looks more like an ice racer.

That's how it's supposed to be driven, the car understeers off power and oversteers on power, you need to use throttle to turn the car.

It could be that the surface had gotten greasy . Most likely these aren't the only ones racing that weekend, there were other categories as well, so that plausible.

@OlBlueshound - If that is an example of "very easy to drive" I'd sure as hell would like to see one that was a real handful! Any knowledgeable Cobra driver would tell you that driving the Cobra competitively required all of your attention and skills as a driver or you'd be in trouble very quickly!

If my experience of simulator racing this car is right, this car doesn't have ABS nor traction control. Add rear wheel drive and a fairly soft suspension and you have the perfect fun machine. If you want to learn countersteering, get this car :))

too much movement on the steering-wheel. His hands are all over the wheel. Hands should stay at 3-9 position or 2-10 position.

Just for info, I've learned to drive with a 1966 350 GT Shelby Mustang (same engine as the Cobra Daytona btw) and I've attended a race driving school later on...
