How's it going! I'm back with another pokemon reaction video, but this is a little different. We will be taking a look at the ranking of all of Ash's pokemon. Note this tier list was made in October 2021, so some of the ranking of pokemon will probably need to be updated like Lucario.

Ash's Cyndaquil also defeated a Steelix. Just remindin'

Oh. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't fire super-effective against steel types? Wouldn't that be an easy match-up for Cyndaquil or is Steelix much stronger than I thought?

@@mycupoftea_1 Yeah that is correct but Cyndaquil hardly fought much back then. And, the gym leader's steelix was its ace so it had a lot of experience. Plus, Cyndaquil used to struggle a lot to use his flame thrower properly early on so I feel it was a big accomplishment

​@@KakashiHatake-mz6ug But that's not into consideration here, Cyndaquil already learned to control it's flames by that point, beating Dewgong is really it's biggest feat And what do you mean Cyndaquil hardly ever fought? He was used a lot specially in early Sinnoh, it was after pryce that he stopped being used often because Charizard returned

Pikachu was able to hit arceus because arceus was missing its thunder plate.. Which if it had at the time would not get hit by that thunderbolt

@@andrewgarfield1421 the plates seemed to give a great ammount of immunity to those types, but they don´t give or take from Arceus´defenses in theory, the guy was battling both Dialga and Palkia and winning after all

Ash did sometimes bring back old pokemon for some high tier battles very rarely like the pokemon legues or frontier brains some rematches but it was some few and far between when Ash went to a region he liked to start fresh as his goal is to befriend as many pokemon as posible if not all and grow stronger with them that why despite the tactical disadvantage with types and stuff swapping out the new poke friends he was making by building his teams was almost never really something he’d do if not forced to. In part it kinda made him a better trainer in anime of course having work around obvious disadvantages sticking by his teams.

The reason the pikachu losing to snivy was so bad is because snivy was a newly recieved starter for a rookie trainer

Oh that's good to know. I was under the impression that once he leaves them with Oak, he doesn't return to them when he goes to a new region.

Thank you. The new Ash vs Steven battle or the old one because I have no clue if the new Masters 8 battle dropped. And I recently found out that Ash fought Steven before in the past.

He used to. But Professor Oak's statement about Infernape going up against Charizard, and still looking for a more powerful opponent DOES put him on Charizard's level. And Charizard has better feats than Sceptile.
