Dad-“Why did you touch the air conditioning?” Son- “Because it was getting hot.” Dad- “I don’t give a s-t.” This 14-yr old boy is actually in an 8x8 Box! No window to keep cool, It’s in a garage that has no insulation. So, it is probably even hotter than the garage. Then, he is teased with the control to the air conditioner, and the parents know darn well he will try to cool down or warm up! This is cruel and unusual punishment. There is no teaching moment, just plain mean. Horrible! The more I hear, the more infuriated I become.

@@kell_checks_inMy nephew is intellectually gifted, when he was in year 3 he started playing up in class. My sister kept asking him why and his answer was always “I don’t know”. After a few complaints, she, my nephew and the teacher got together and worked out that he was way beyond the students capabilities and fixed it by giving him work from classes above him. It fixed the problem. I think this young man was the same, and instead of trying to help him, they turned to punishing him, which made him rebel even more. So sad 😢

I have a son, he's 15. Recently diagnosed with ADHD, but in his younger years, between 7-12, he struggled with emotions. We had many fights. Many. We went to parenting class and tried our best. But I NEVER, EVER stopped loving him or made him feel like there was something wrong with him. We gave him all the love we could, and today he's a lovely young man. Smart, caring, and even if he sees things as difficult sometimes, we get through it somehow, never stopping with the love and attention he needs. These ppl make me really sick and so sad for the boy at the same time. Imagine, if they had put their own egos aside for a moment, where this young man would be today. He's a top student, as far as I've heard him take the stand, the other day. Cause when it comes to mental health, you could be the smartest person in the world, but without care, you're the most lost.

They'll have a locked bar door so they are watched at all times. They won't have control over the heat/cool of that cell AND their beds won't be as comfortable as the boys. Just a metal bunk with 4 inch mattress. They will be given clothes, but not as good as the boys. They WILL be treated much worse in prison by inmates than they treated him. I would love to know if that scum asks Big Bubba, " You think you are tuff? Let's get it on OR I'll deal with you tomorrow. " ...

After watching several hours of this court case what I see is that ‘the child’ a minor, at least is being honest. He’s admitting his failures. 🤦‍♀️ Daddy dearest locked him in a 8x8 locked room, peanut butter sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and probably dinner, no toys, books limited to school books, no air conditioning in the Florida heat, yelling, screaming, demeaning rants… and yet he would like us all to believe… he cared for this child!!! I’m horrified at what I’m hearing.

It’s easy to hear that the least of it was being locked up, the most of it was the parents systematically breaking him down psychologically to the point of him feeling absolutely worthless. Heck I even felt worthless after the first tirade from this dad demeaning and degrading him and projecting all his own issues out in this kid. How humiliating….to have the biological son come into the room, and hear how nicely they speak with him, versus Ronin. And, how odd that they should name him Ronin, thinking of the Japanese meaning of the name. But, this boy was just set up for failure every single day. The mother didn’t like him. After having her own biological child, she didn’t need the adopted boy any longer. One week before their biological son was born, they moved him to the garage.
