I found Ceaser through Proko and after watching all of his vlogs I think that Ceaser was triggered by the "artist falling into the trap of painting for other people" bit by Proko. It was funny. Good video.

I liked this interview because it discovered that if you want to create technically spot on drawings like Proko you need to have mentality like Proko, be Proko-like. And, I´m loose as hell...still I like to learn from Proko vids.

Great listening in to two of my fav contemporary artists.Some great points and opinions...I totally understand where Stan is coming from on the Russian student art. Yet i totally get you Cesar in the ultimate appreciation would be some one wanting to buy it. I sold my first painting at 7 years old which must have had or still has impacted me.

I love the dynamic of these two. Clearly Proko has a lot of unexplored ideas in his head that Cesar has a knack at touching on. I don't mean like some spiritual mumbo-jumbo, just toughts that he didn't pay much mind as he is a man that follows facts rather than gut instincts

Cesar, Big fan here. I’ve seen all of your blogs. I’ve heard you mention Bouguereau several times. I’ve come across his work as a liturgical artist, but I would say he is less well known than Van Gogh or Michaelangelo. I would love to see a video about him with your unique perspective. How did you discover him? What about his work touches you? How can we employ what studying his work will teach us? Either way, keep up the good work. Thanks

Hi Cesar!! I noticed that above your head in the shelf behind you, you have the Richard Schmid´s "The Landscapes" book. Since i purchased the same book and i´m a big fan of Schmid´s work and see his painting technique (loose and direct painting) as the mastery way of painting, i get to wonder what´s your opinion about that. Do you think that naturally your painting abilities will develop to a more abstract and direct way of painting? I think this could be a good theme for a future vlog, man! Cheers!

Very interesting. Stan is great guy and very skilled, thing is he went into the trap in studying to long that he cant fuck up an eye and doing some nonsense abstraction expression with colors. I started studying art and droped out one year later, many years later I started painting for fun an dit took off. Now 8 years later and over 400 sold paintings I started studying the craftsman part again and I think its hard for the classic artists to think outside the box for awhile. What donyou think Ceasar?
