For improv classes it's a good way to start building trust and show how many stories (and relationships) there are within arms reach. We don't have to go reaching for them, they are waiting at our fingertips.

Good! There is so much utility to getting people comfortable with using story. We are less guarded when speaking in "story language", so our thoughts can be creative and truthful. Good! Sharing with my husband, who can't seem to get his colleagues to turn on their screens in the meet... guess he's too intimidating?! He should start, and share something personal, maybe even vulnerable and/or silly right? Or make mistakes while doing it.. crossing fingers he'll actually try it! Ah, we might also use it in the undoubtedly upcoming Xmas/Silvester/holiday family zoom calls... cheers William, hope you are OK =)

Thanks Tess for the comment. It is a challenge to 'get' people to turn on their cameras. Finding value in seeing each other so that people want to turn on their camera is the goal. Simple show-and-tell activities are low stress and increase rapport. Your comment is spot on. Hope you are well Tess.

Have fun! This can be so much fun. You may have to prompt the players to speak in the first person as the object. And the thing we are really interested in - is the relationship between the object and the person. Enjoy!
