"its not perfect, but yall can tell that im having fun..." honestly if every other musician in the world had this attitude, the world of music would be in a better place.

One does not need to see you "rhythm & groovin" or your facial expressions to hear the passion and soul of your music RJ! You definitely have a way of putting feeling into the music you play. There are plenty of very good players out there, but most lack the ability to put real emotion in their playing. But not you RJ! That's where you excel above the rest. Don't EVER stop! And thanks for sharing a little piece of your world with us.

17 years later and YT is feeding me RJ jams today. Such a balm for these difficult times. Looking forward to RJ6 from here in the past/future. So glad you showed up in my life and brought Phourist & The Photons along to boot. It's been a wonderful journey, Ronald. Gonna jam w my bf this afternoon and maybe post a YT, too. I know I found my music in part because of your ever encouraging words from so long ago. Gives me lots of hope.💫

Ronald this song is so beautiful. There is so much feeling in it. You're a really passionate guy. You're a happy man that does what he loves, but you share so much more than just happiness with your music. The whole range of human emotion is it. Sadness, melancholy, dissapointment, longing for a better world, daydreaming and many other things that I would generally relate to the genre Blues. Yes happiness, exitement, gladness, and the like also. This tune I would say is a kind of a blues.

Hey Ronald! Awesome stuff as always! Funny you mention the 'record' at the end...listening to you makes me wonder how much beautiful music around the world is between nothing more than the musician, the instrument, and God. Despite the rows and rows of CDs at the local best buy, 99% of us never hear more than 1% of the great music the world has to offer. Take care.

Ronald honestly I think you should put out some more slow jams. This has so many different elements of music from R&B to it's roots in jazz and classical. I feel drawn to your chord progressions and always wonder where you'll go next. Yet you always seem to bring it full circle and bring one section back to the previous while still pushing forward. Keep it up Ronald, you've got a fan in me.

I know you said that you read all your comments, but with the plethora of positive feedback that you get, it's hard to believe that that's possible. PLEASE THUMBS UP SO RONALD SEES THIS!

This is going to sound weird but I feel a story of life plays out in this improv. He moves to higher and higher notes but always keeps the chorus of three tones. People move up in the world but always keep something about them the same in the background. Then when the song reaches its highest it is different by far and new. But in the end it comes back to the beginning and reminisces. The last few notes are a final novel development based on the beginning. Then it ends as a life would.
