Very reluctantly I added those settings to the description. The reason being: I worry that many people won't watch the video anymore. And that would be a shame after spending hundreds of hours in the settings. People watching my video is the only way to grow my channel. BUT on the other hand: I also haven't tried that out before and "just being worried" is not a valid measurement 😄... so let's give it a shot. 🙂

Great video! The only issues I've had with shaders is how hard it is to see in some places. Good thing there's so much customization options about the coloring and brightness. This video had everything I needed. 👍

I have a ryzen 7 3700x and a 2080 super I copied your settings and yet for some reason on minecraft realms especially but even on single player there is a very large fps drop i used to play 100-200 fps and now it is 30-40 do you know what I could do?

First approach to get higher FPS always is: 1. Render distance (7-9 for a weak pc, 10-12 for a strong one, >12 for highend) 2. Shadows: Reduce the shadowmap quality and shadowmap distance

You may have "Desaturation" turned on in the menu Shader Settings -> Lighting. If turned off, the colors should also be full and vibrant during the night 🙂

Den Vergleich vorher/nachher im Video fand ich sehr gut! Manches hab ich direkt übernommen, anderes abgeändert (bei den Nether Farben bin ich auf Intensity 4, damit wirkt alles etwas heller und weniger drückend, für wenn man dort mal wieder länger unterwegs ist) und wieder anderes gelassen wie ich es vorher schon hatte (vor allem beim Wasser).

Bei dem Wasser gibt es echt viele verschiedene Vorlieben (farblos, transparent, sumpfig, wolkig-blaugrau etc.) ... aber gut, dass du das Eine oder Andere mitnehmen konntest - Danke fürs Feedback! 🙂

240fps average to 90fps average while looking at the exact same pixel from the exact same coordinate xD oof. but damn it's pretty. already turned render distance tand simulation distance down to 8chunks, whjich is the absolute minimum i'm "willing" to play xD

i onestly want the shaders look and if you want vanilla just play vanilla withouth shaders. This is just my opinion so dont get mad at me. Im sure there are vanilla looking like shaders out there so its always possibble to look for that

No worries that's absolutely fine 🙂. A vanilla look doesn't mean vanilla though. You still have light effects incl. raytracing, water, 3D materials, bloom, blur and all those post effects. Anyways, I'm happy that you left a comment - thank you 😊

Water, then reduce water fog density to 0.25 (minimum). Just do this as last step in your tweaking/check it everytime you make new ones. Reason : some others tweaks reset this setting back to default, I still can't figure which ones exactly.

I wouldn't buy a laptop for gaming🙂. The shaders might run ... but laptops (even highend with dedicated gpu) do struggle with shaders. I have the latest 11th gen intel in a del xps and can play with shaders but the performance is poor.

You COULD be in an area with tons of entities or have a render distance that is too high (something between 10 and 15 is a good and sufficient setting).
