My exercises 1, Learning grammar is difficult, but the best was "yet to come." 2, One day we "may yet" realize this vision of learning in our brains. ( One day I "may yet" realize this vision of brain-based learning. ) 3, I'm afraid it's been delayed "yet again." 4, The plan "could yet" succeed. I really appreciate Teacher Rupert 😊👍

Dear Rupert, Would you please comment on the use of “as of yet”- particularly, do the extra words ‘as of’ add any more meaning or colour?

Great question! "As of" means "At the time of" (this can be used with other phrases e.g. "As of yesterday") "Yet" means "From the past until now".
