Great! loved having these expressions explained. I think maybe our English counterpart to 'van een mug een olifant maken' is 'To make a mountain out of a molehill' Also 'Zand erover' we say 'That is water under the bridge' I will try to learn a few of these to impress haha Thanks!

Thank you so much for this! Very helpful. But I have a question about "der"( 05:50 ). I have never heard of it being used in Dutch before. Could you explain a bit on how to use it or translate it?

Der is an old genitive form of the Dutch language. It is used for female words and words in the plural for instance : de helaasheid DER dingen, but I'll make a video about it in the future...
