The manufacturers should be paying me to walk around advertising their huge logos!

Why would they pay you? We're nobodies.

@Marko polo, To hold your gear for the court! Balls, a racquet or two, a towel, water bottle! I'm a bag person, so I always have a bag to carry my gear even if I'm traveling light :) Michelle, TW

Hello there, what do you think is a good bag for someone who plays 5-6 days a week with matches on saturdays or sundays & has quite a bit of gear? Thanks...
@tenniswarehouse5 жыл бұрын
You will likely be best off with a 9 to 12 pack bag. There are also a couple of bags that are sort of like a hybrid between a duffle, and a racquet bag, such as the Tecnifibre Endurance Rack Pack, and Head Gravity 12R Duffle Bag. Most brands offer a good quality bag option, and some of our favorites are the Tecnifibre ATP or Tour bags, and Dunlop CX bags. I use a Prince Tour 9 pack bag, and it has been a good bag for me for the past year or so. Troy, TW

Thank you, I have the 2016 pure aero so I'll be thinking of the pure 12 bag from 2017.

What would be a good bag for a high school player? Thanks
@tenniswarehouse7 жыл бұрын
@Sameer Menon, A 6 pack would be a good start! But if you carry more stuff plus several racquets (like your shoes, extra clothes, change of clothes, sweats, etc.) you might want to look at an 8+ pack. We have a bunch of options! --> www.tennis-warehouse.com/bagfinder.html Hope that helps! Michelle, TW

Just go to the court and play. Get a coach or trainer to teach you the basic strokes and footwork patterns or follow one on KZbin. I learnt most of my game watching Federer's slow-motion videos

Do not buy any of those off brand racquets. My first racquet was a Babolat, and I still use it to this day. I have restrung it a couple times, but that’s normal. Get a good bag and a pair of real tennis shoes. I went to my first lessons in beat up Jordan’s I didn’t really care about, and I tripped a lot. A good, large water bottle is also very important. If you can, getting a cheaper (but not off brand) backup racquet is a great idea just in case you break your strings during practice or a match and your coach doesn’t have an extra racquet for you to use. It would also be a good idea to keep 2 ankle braces in your bag, or you can wear them (whichever you want) and a good hat would also be nice to have. Other than that, just practice. It’s ok if you can’t hit 90 MPH serves in your first week, or can’t do a full court serve first week. It took me a month or two just to learn how to do a good full court serve, and even longer to control the amount of power I put in my swing so the ball didn’t go over the fence, or outside the court barriers. It will take time to get good, just like with volleyball, football, soccer, golf, baseball, softball, lacrosse, track, swimming, or hockey. Just put as much effort into your practice as you can without taking away from other things. Taking breaks, days off when you aren’t feeling the best, or even hanging out with friends can help. And do _not_ get upset with yourself if you can’t do a certain move. It took me a long time to learn the backhand slice, because whenever I failed I got really mad with myself. When I realized that getting mad at myself was holding me back, I perfected the move within a week and a half. But the most important part is *have as much fun as you possibly can!* good luck!

It seems like a 6 pack bag would work well for your needs, or maybe a 9-pack for a bit extra room. If you are looking for a great deal, we have the Tennis Warehouse Blue 9-Pack Bag, www.tennis-warehouse.com/Tennis_Warehouse_Bags/descpageBGTW-TW9BL.html. Do you a particular brand preference? are there any bags that would have enough compartment space to keep 4-6 racquets organized in addition to a basketball? thanks!
@tenniswarehouse6 жыл бұрын
@Jason Yeh, Hmmm...not sure! We haven't tried throwing a basketball in -- but I bet some of the larger 15-pack bags would do the trick! You can check our site for in depth measurements on each bag we carry. www.tennis-warehouse.com/8-12_Racquet_Tennis_Bags/catpage-SUP6BAGS.html Hope that helps, Michelle, TW
