I'm confused because at 23:14 the man is saying "I try to get a jog in every day". Do I need to put the preposition "in" before "every day"? I thought "every day" is used as adverb.

Thanks a lot for the video! But there is something I can’t understand. Starting from 29:39 the speaker says and a bit later the subscript confirms: “I have know Mr. McGrady….” Isn’t it the present perfect tense? Shouldn’t it sounds like “I have known Mr. McGrady…”?
