You are killing it man. Fantastic explanation as usual! The only piece I feel wasn't clarified quite enough is how the gconc's ability interacts with the next ability. I see that in practice you use an ability after every gconc, before swapping to staff so that the crit chance buff isn't lost. However, in the fsoa portion you mention that within staff spec you should only stop staff camping for to get off gconc, without noting the importance of getting off that follow up ability before swapping back to staff.

I could’ve explained that a bit better for sure! I mention that gconc gives the next ability a 15% crit chance increase. During FSOA, you want to crit for more damage, and when you crit you want to be wielding your staff so that the auto attack does more damage. Since Gconc increases the chance of that happening by 15%, you can gconc, swap back to staff, then use a non bleed ability with staff for the increased crit chance. Gconc also gives progressively more crit chance to each of its own hits through its duration which I mention in the video. So I aside from the increased 15% chance to crit on your next ability, gconc itself has the potential to smack a lot of damage and gain adrenaline.

To clarify, dark form doubles the proc chance of ancient spell effects, like blood barrage. However, auto attacks already have a 100% proc chance, so using dark form with abilities does very little, and blood barrage with abilities is really never worth it. It is still worth considering in fsoa due to the autos.

That’s what I’m going over in that portion of the video. I have an auto attack keybound on my action bar, that I press with another ability simultaneously in the rotation I explained in the video. One thing I forgot to mention is that you have to toggle manual spell casting in settings for it to work.

R1sky Fart here You can't 4taa after omni or tsunami because they're delayed by 1 tick. Similar to Dbow or sgb specs

Thanks that super helpful! How to you get your adren bar to show one more decimal of precision? I've checked that box on my settings but nothing is changing.

It has to do with how much you gain/use, and it’ll only shows decimals if you have a decimal amount. I use invigorating 4 with magic, which makes every auto attack generates 2.8% adrenaline as opposed to 2%, so it’ll frequently show decimal places. You can also achieve this with certain spec costs when using ring of vigour, like dragon dagger costs 25%, vigour makes it cost 22.5%, which would then show a decimal point.

They’re both great perks! Invigorating is good because that slight boost to adren is massive with FSOA since you send out autos for every crit, and extra adren helps to make your rotations more consistent imo. So you won’t be missing out if you ever decide to make the swap.

When under fsoa you can gconc into wm or omni switch to staff the tick after the ability keeping the crit buff and getting 2h autos. If you do that can you 4 tick the 3rd ability or will the staff switch be to early?

You can switch to your 2h the moment after you use the ability with dw to 4taa with, that's typically what I do.

That's why u cast the next ability after gconc with DW and switch to the Staff at the same time you cast it. Doing this, and you will carry on the crit buff from DW into 2H. A bonus would be, doing this inside a Fsoa spec, and u will get the auto attacks fired off from the staff, so more adren and dps!

@@beautti5528 here's an example. You cast gconc then WM, but at the same time you cast WM you switch to staff, the animation should be a DW WM while holding the staff. This way you get the gconc buff on WM, but you also get the staff dmg and the fsoa auto attacks fired from the staff ontop of it on the WM. Note This does not work with channeled abilities, switching to staff right after casting asphyx will cancel it. Tldr; Gconc bonus carries over to 2h, You know your doing this right when you do a DW WM animation while holding staff.

I’m sure you’d be fine to do that, but your dps outside of fsoa spec would be quite a bit less

How viable do you think magic is playing on a laptop, with only 3 keybinds for prayers? Im debating switching to mage as Im quite bored of range. Is it even possible? And would it be better than t90 range doing 25min ed2 runs?

Honestly, non-fsoa magic rotation can do pretty much anything in game if you want to. The gconc rotation is very strong, but I’d say it’d be similar to t90 range setup. If you’re using the new arrows with t90 that’s probably going to fair a little better in terms of speed, but magic is very laid back with gconc + dual wield, and competitive damage. It doesn’t have any switches unless you 4TAA, and if you don’t it’s essentially all handled by revo aside from gstaff eof. Based on your current situation, I’d say it’s more of a side grade. You’d just be changing the style you’re playing with, but if that brings you the enjoyment you want, then it’s 100% worth.

It’s a fairly low improvement, probably more unnoticeable than you’d think. If you have other upgrades to get first then I’d get those.
