When you "Brickwall" EQ, it emphasizes the note that you are bricking.... so not only can it mess with phase but it messes with the notes... Keep in mind... I love me some curves... and anything flat is usually not as nice as curves... lmao

phase issues going crazy with that brickwall eq. At least use the linear phase mode
@MarioBorgatta Жыл бұрын
Yes, that is something you will want to take into consideration. Obviously linear phase will help, but you wont have any concerning phase issues if its done on a single track like a sub bass. You won't want to do this on a live drum set with multiple microphones.

Brickwalling a sub... not so sure about that one

I’ve seen plenty of engineers use this technique.

it could sound good but it could be dangerous since it might cause phase issue but u can give it a try. At the end of the day, it depends.

Why are you idiots trying a to be the next scam?

Have you tried it?
@MarioBorgatta Жыл бұрын
@@曹齊安 phase wont be a problem if its a single track, unlike a live drum set or something with 2 microphones. but yes, it all depends, sometimes it doesn't work and will cause some oscillating and resonance on certain frequencies.
