Really underrated video. im not in any sorts a beginner. i play college hockey ncaa d2. Coach told me I have a bad habit of "slapping" the puck. I'm really just snap shotting it to the player. Anyway, thanks for this, even better players have to learn the basics again.

I do the same as you mentioned, noticed it recently. It's like I went from the basics and then forgot them over time and need to go back, but this time going back I have more knowledge. All players benefit from the basics every now and then to perfect their technique and make it even stronger.

Back check, that is the biggest thing you have to do I led my team offensively and my team still considered me a 2 way forward because of how fast I would get back and break up rushes

+BarDownDuoHD the point of synthetic Ice is that you can skate on it

+Miguel Gorres I made the mistake of putting it in my garage and then using it, and training others in their shoes. Normally it's not that bad, but outside my garage is sand and gravel so a lot of it gets brought in. I can clean it with a pressure washer, but don't want to do this too often as it brings moisture in my garage. In order to keep it clean I would have to do a no shoes policy. I could rent a floor buffer and get it looking good as new.
