Good tip! Have you ever considered a lower lie for your stick/blade? This would prevent the toe from being so far off the ice as seen in this demonstration.

@@tchevrier I've gone from a lie 6 to a 5.5 to a 5 and now play with a 4 ... and frankly ... the 4 is perfect for me. I am seeing a little more wear toward the toe end of the tape, but the angle is helping me load my "pull in snap shots" With lie 6 blades, all the wear was at the heel, and with lie 5 the wear was right in the middle. Tape wear is you know what lie is best for you.

you need to look up the definition of perpendicular.
