Improve your Spanish Accent - Dividing Words into Syllables

Learn how to divide Spanish words into syllables. Knowing how to divide words into syllables is an easy way to improve your accent when speaking Spanish. If all words were one syllable long then it would be pretty easy. The longer they are, the more difficult it becomes. We will end with a long word from a tongue twister in Spanish.

Thanks for the video. I somehow just knows how to pronounce words (most of the times) and I didn't know there is a rule for it. My teachers say that ever letter has its own sound it doesn't change, just follow it. Which is what i did and sometimes it gives confusions. Preslava Petrova My classroom has a SmartBoard (digital whiteboard). I change the background from white to black. I use a USB headset to record my voice while writing. I use a software very similar to JING to record the voice and screen at the same time. My friend uses a Bamboo Wacom Tablet instead of a SmartBoard. Thanks for watching.

ok, we are CEPE in CDMEX and word at the end is wrong according to professors here: according to them it should be.... Desparanguaricuitizalo there is no RLO at the as you break the syllables....and just to confirm we spent a good amount of time asking around about this and...dude....correct the word...here...google it... desparangaricutirimicuarizarlo nada....but even so we would like to know where you got this? gracias

The word itself is a tongue-twister and is also used in longer tongue-twisters that include nonsense words similar to Parangaricutirimícuaro e.g.: "El pueblo de Parangaricutirimícuaro se va a desparangaricutirimicuarizar. Many...plaza, drama, transcribir just three examples. What you will NEVER find (unless it is an imported word) is a word that starts in Spanish with S and then another consonant. Thanks for watching!
