Boris, I suspected the MACD improvement was to late, this morning it cost me the 100 point move up. To late, MACD was red and the crossover happened. One bar later it went red after big move up, to late to enter. What can we tweak? FYI

You need to 1. Paste. 2. Save. 3. Add to Chart If you did all that then click on settings wheel and chnage the target values to adjust to whatever instrument you are using

I've been playing with this on NAS and it hasn't performed well. I backtested US30 and it did even worse. (Not a big fan of backtesting as it's a sterile environment) This is more of an FYI - maybe market cycle is affecting it?

Boris thank you so much for the tutorial and info. Using your new improved version with MACD. This morning I was watching and the market had not opened yet, but pretrading had a buy. I watched as market opened and it had a scary red bar down, but we were Green MACD and then it jumped up. I watched as it moved higher an higher. It dropped back to where I could have entered, but I was not thinking, was looking for the Buy signal but it was already given. When I realized we were back in the buy zone it was to late, lol. I watched it move to the 50 pt target, then the 100 point, wow. I watched closely and the next move was up again. I think it would have been smart to have a tight trailing stop loss at that point. Then we started down, and I would have been out. It continued down to loose all it's gains today as I write this. It crossed the MA lines and now trying to come back some but MACD is RED as of 11:25 ET. I will keep watching and maybe get another entry point later, thanks again!

I see that you choose the 15 as the longer timeframe of the 1 min chart. Why is it that you choose relatively 2 short term timeframes? I thought that to better understand the trend you had to be on the 1h+ chart

You need a balance between sensitivuty and accuracy and I thought 15M was the perfect balance
