10:00 For people who didn't understand what AC sir and Ranveer were talking about: In the mediaeval times, there used to be big bulky machines made of wood and stone, which were used as calculators or calendars. Some years ago, a man named as John Von Nueman saw those huge calculators and said: "we can make them more powerful". This man was a genius. He designed a system which replicated how human brain works. Human brain has different parts: Memory, Processing, Logic etc. He used the knowledge of electricity and electrons available at that time to convert these concepts of the brain into physical memory cards, processing chips etc. Now because of the limits of technology, these basic computers at that time only understood two commands: "Yes" or "No". And computers don't have ears, so to talk to a computer you have to pass electric currents in it. 5V current is "Yes" or "1" 0V current is "No" or "0" This genius man, Von Neumann, also realised that we can create every command in the world by using different combinations of Yes and Nos. These combinations of Yes and No are popularly called as Logic Gates in engineering. So this is how basic computing is done. You create a program to order pizza. The chips inside your computer will convert that program into electrical currents of Yes and No so the computer "hears" the command and start working on it. I hope this made the knowledge more digestible! 🙏🏻

Great knowledge. When he is telling all this it reminds me of the dialing of a normal landline years ago .My mom use to lock it before going to the lions club,. We had to call our friends in her absence .So we used to tap the buttons where the receiver used to be placed to cut the call. For 1 ony 1 tap the for 2 another 2 nonstop.Similarly up to 9 then when it comes to 0 it should be tapped 10 times non stop. The no game has developed somuch that its impossible to refrain from progress. Maths is the most complicated subject .Maths ,physics,chemistry,and biology r all inter related. Its because of the universe. Which is geography .Hence they r actually known as geo physics,geochemistry, geobiology etc. No universe none of these r applicable. Possible topics to discuss with AC sir for next podcast/s : 1. Mechanics and possibilities of achieving cold fusion, how does a tokamak reactor work. Would future moon and deep sea exploration missions to acquire Helium-3 resources create major geopolitical conflicts in mid 21st century? 2. Can fusion push humanity towards a truly Kardashev 1 and 2 type civilization? Is there an issue of orbital space cluttering and heat waste with such civilizations? 3. What would a highly evolved K1 or K2 type humanity with energy abundance use it's power resources for? Space colonization or transferring all that power to build massively powerful computers and transfer human consciousness to simulations? 4. In case the universe is a simulation, is human consciousness a natural and freely emergent property of an algorithm or is it guided along the way by the creator/s? 5. Discuss what's a boltzmann brain is. Physics by definition can only explain that which is observable. Even if universe were a simulation, would there be a way, to definitively find whether universe is a spontaneous formation like a boltzmann brain through the scientific method? 6. In a possibility where information is the basic constituent of reality, Is ascension or descension to higher or lower planes of existence possible through technologies which could manipulate information on a quantum level? For instance by changing the fundamental constants like light speed, electron charge etc. could we transfer human brain consciousness to such planes of reality and have them live a different subjective experience? Could this draw a parallel with people travelling through various lokas in our puranas.

Thank you TRS for this episode I just relived my Engineering days uptill now. Happy to see some one sharing the same question which runs in your head will we be able to create consciousness through just training machines and data what's the starting point to it. And to add a few cents to your doubt when u say a brain in a computer with all the data is kinda of already being implemented as DNN deep neural networks which works on the basis of how our brain actually works with activations of neurones and triggers. Only thing left is to find out if consciousness is born out of it ... The only thing that makes us human different from machines is this conciousness....

I work for a Huge Edtech US training company & noticed there's a major gap, in courses here in India for AI, edge, & quantum computing also cybersecurity. If we gotta plan for 2050 there's gotta be adoption of this, concepts like blue teams, red teams, for pentesting are way too less & need to catch up...
