Absolutely LOVED everything about this video! First, your vulnerability to show a weakness you are trying to overcome. We are also trying to develop a forehand for my gf. Second, your reference to 3 awesome videos that we have also incorporated into our routine, and third Chase's amazing encouragement throughout the video. Learning new techniques can be very difficult and frustrating, but you kept it positive the entire time. Well done!

Thank you SO much. Truly, this comment means so much to me. It is very hard to be vulnerable especially on the internet. I often wonder if these videos will be helpful, but I figured we all start somewhere. Chase is super encouraging & very patient with me. Wishing you and your gf the best on that endeavor! I hope I can bring to some relatability & encouragement to her ❤️

I just hit a new PB of 313 with mine today. Biggest thing helping me is not arming it so much. You are more so trying to flick it, not throw it. Paul Uli has good short video about just trying to spin the disc 20 feet in front of you. I have been doing that because it's simple, quick and easy. You are pushing the disc off of your fingers. Once you start doing that you will really get it.

Congratulations! That’s amazing! I’ll have to check that out! I’m definitely struggling with the flick aspect of it. & thank you!

I like to imagine a really long table on the side of me(that represents my shot line) and I just slide the disc on the table as hard as I need to, to get my shot off. Either run up or stand still. I found that it helps me to not cross my body and turn over my wrist.

I haven’t thought of that before! Thank you for sharing. I’ve been thinking about this visually in my mind & it makes a lot of sense. I’ll see if that helps me!

Thanks for the shoutout. Who’s the coach you’re working with?

Of course! My husband and I love your videos! Currently, it’s just me and my husband trying to figure things out. I’ve had coaching in the past, but it was to work on my backhand . I’m also in the Power Disc Golf Academy.

We all start somewhere! I feel very vulnerable showing my progress from the beginning, but I hope it helps others who might be in a similar boat. I definitely hope to inspire one way or another.

You have the determination to learn this. Look at your improvement already. I have no doubt that you will be over 250 by the time this series is over.

I found Caroline's forehand video to be particularly helpful while working on my own form last year. (Plenty of good information and easy to understand.) The other thing that helps my field work, is to have reference videos easily accessible during practice as well as notes about specific tasks to work on during that session. Better use of my time and an easy way to make sure I've gotten all the tasks checked off before I head home. Enjoy the journey.

Good video! Is that a camera on his baseball hat? Who sells that?

Thank you! It’s not a camera, it’s our dji wireless mics. 😊 his hat is just a gray Nike hat from Dicks Sporting Goods. Ray bands has a video camera on some of their sun glasses though! I don’t own a pair with a camera, but I’ve seen people with them.
