What parents and professionals often refer to as difficulty reading social cues is actually not accurate. When kids with ADHD struggle socially they have lagging social executive function skills. This webinar will provide you with an understanding of how to help build social executive function skills and clear up common misconceptions about social skills in kids with ADHD. It will be helpful to parents of boys and girls as well as educators and mental health professionals.
Objectives
Upon completion of this webinar, you will be able to:
Understand how to help build social executive function skills.
Recognize common misconceptions people have about social skills in kids with ADHD.
List ways to help your child when they are struggling with social skills.
About the Presenter
Ryan Wexelblatt, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP, is a licensed clinical social worker, school social worker and father to a son with ADHD. He is the creator of ADHD Dude and creates content for parents and kids at the ADHD Dude KZbin channel. Social skills is an area of focus for him. He has developed the only methodology in existence for teaching social skills from a male perspective. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Wexelblatt is based in Ventnor, New Jersey.

You’re presentations are THE ONLY ones worth giving my time to- it’s real, just like the struggle! You have given me HOPE when I’ve nearly given up on thinking that there’s help for this situation that ADHD has taken us hostage in. Thank you. Please don’t ever stop sharing your wisdom & experience. I hope to learn your perspective and suggestions for children & parents dealing with ignorant teachers & school people.
