When I saw the concrete british cars I was like "WHAT??? ok, it should protect form shrapnels and small arms, but it's a bit too heavy". But when I saw this Italian wooden car I was just speachless...

I was disappointed when I saw the content under this lable. I know it is easier to be a critic than a craftsman, but these appear to be more experimental or design submissions rather than improvisations. Improvisations would be more like the Cullen hedgerow cutter or adding applique armor to an armored vehicle, but done generally in the field to fill an immediate need and be utilzied immediately and not as "design" issues/objectives done as possible class upgrades etc. I would love to see those first echelon "inprovizations" such as applique armor, added sandbags, and so on. We did a lot of that kind of thing in Viet Nam early on until we caught up on the design and manufacturing end stimulated by reports from the field. Just saying. I like your videos. I am an armor buff. Please keep it up.

the uk bision concrete pillbox on back old lorry chassis the idea was use them for airfield defence speed irrevelent as not meant to chase after parachutists but would be used to block runways so any gliders , planes would be wrecked on landing

+Mr Saturday Night Special If you'll notice, they were all made in the time when the German invasion scare was the highest. They were looking to basically take anything they could and throw it at the Germans when they landed. Many of them were also made in the colonies, so they took what was already in country and slapped a gun and armour on them.
