You are wrong. Final velocity is 0 and initial velocity is 60m/s. Because when the ball is kicked it's 60m/s and then it becomes 0 when it reaches the goal

While teaching impulse using ball bounce example you said we can take any direction of motion of ball is positive and other as negative My question here is why we can take any direction as positive according to sign convention rule motion along right or upward side should be taken as positive and motion along left or downward side should be taken as negative please explain me

1st ball goes in upward direction with initial velocity of 2 ms means positive direction. 2nd ball comes in downward direction hence we take final velocity as negative.

For constant acceleration "a" & V=½(u+v): F∆t~ma·|∆x|/V~(∆K/V)F^ ~Work done per av. speed V, in direction of applied force. ~(½m∆v²/ ½(u+v))F^=m∆v. So, in theory, you could measure the transfer of energy to the wall and this will help you work out the impulse, as long as you know the average speed of the collision.

The impulse of wall on the ball .Direction of ball is changed that's why velocity chanced . Impulse=∆p =m(v-u) , we take mass as common. =m(-v-u) ,here v is negative And we know that . m(-2-2)=m(-4) I hope you will understand
