Had to pause the video to say that I love the editing with Keep in the Deep 2 minutes in. Soft while talking, volume up for timelapse, soft in background while you talk again, and then scene cuts right at the end!! I LOVED it!!

The collabs with other Hermits is always the best part of everyone's video. They are what I enjoy the most about Hermitcraft and why I'm watching in the first place. Glad this video had lots of it! Also, you guys should make much more use of the mini game district. This was only the second time ever that I've seen Hermits play a few games in the mini game district this season. Never have I seen anyone use Ethos PvP map being played or (likely) most of the other mini games. I see lots of Hermits "complain" about being out of ideas for videos and such - why not just make episodes of just playing mini games with others in these periods. Such videos would be more than good enough for us and surely would take out the pressure for (those affected of) you guys as well.

They considered playing Etho's Battle Bane, but it required too much setup - off the top of my head, it probably requires Curse of Vanishing armour? anyway, it wasn't stocked i think

If you want to watch hermits playing on the PvP map, you should find vods of the charity stream. As far as I know that's the only time they've used it. It does take a lot of set up, as well as coordination to get enough people together to play at the same time, so that's probably why.

​@@miniciominiciominicio Someone was talking about wishing they could see some MCC practice from Scar and Impulse, since they seem to be sticking with it, and now I can't get the idea of them doing an MCC training circuit via the Hermitcraft mini games. Get Gem/Pearl/Cub/False/Ren/Grian in to act as trainers--you know Ren would absolutely get into character, lol, and then all they need is Scar or Ren to edit up a training montage. 😂

Great video! For the lift up to Gem's base, I think you should style it like the Dwemer lifts from Skyrim as that would still fit the copper and stone vibe + they generally just look epic.

The “hey listen” bit with Bdubs was so funny. It genuinely caught him off guard and I can’t stop smiling from your guys genuine laughter and enjoyment. Also “did someone say horse???” Out of thin air 😂 the keep is looking incredible by the way. Such an insanely massive build. The scale never translates right through a video so I can’t imagine how it looks actually in game, let alone the hours gathering materials and building. Great work :)

The empty room with the crane - the ceiling feels 'off' to me. I think it's because it's deep underground and it's a very flat roof, without supporting pillars, which means the weight of the rock would bring the ceiling crashing down before long. If pillars aren't an option due to the need for an empty space maybe some more pronounced arches or vaulting might look better.

I agree with others. The crane looks amazing but I think it needs more contrast from the walls. Not sure what blocks you could use maybe some gold to bring in the impulse color? And it works because cranes are def yellow lol but I think it’s hard to appreciate the beautiful design cuz you can barely see it😊 much love on the hermits hanging out segment. Always my fav stuff! ❤

Hey Impulse. My son and I were watching your latest video tonight, the Dwarven Keep looks great. We had an idea for the walls of your storage area. Not sure if you were going to dress up the hanging banners or not, but we thought it might look cool to decorate them with the many Dwarven Clan heraldry. However you might be thinking of how your Dwarven society is stratified, mining guild, metal smiths, jewelers, weaponry guild, etc. My son just mentioned you need a Balrog at the bottom of your giant pit. 😀😉

Really loving your building style!! Impulse, there is a bug in the current version of Minecraft (fixed in 1.20) where if you right click dyed leather horse armor directly onto a horse it will appear brown, but if you put it on through the inventory it will look colored

Maybe I'm just too much of a nerd, but after hearing Hermitcraft Recap's suggestion, in my mind your mineshaft is BEGGING for a Balrog to be disturbed from its slumber by your digging! Imo it's not a question of if, but who will end up adding it to liven things up there! Also, I loved seeing you interact with the other hermits! Big mega builds and bases are always cool, but you guys always have fun when you hang out together, and that makes things more fun for us to watch!

Hi Impulse! Just wanted to suggest that maybe you should change up the colours of the Crane? It’s really dark and a bit hard to see, and by adding some brighter colours, it could enhance your base a bit more! Love your work and the base looks amazing!!!!

The Dwarven theme is so damn cool to build with. Like, usually Lava as a light source looks kinda tacky but in your base it's such a natural fit with the deepslate and copper. I wish I ever had the tenacity to build with such a tedious set on resources :D

Unaged copper would create a great contrast by implementing it in the design of the machines. Right now the crane blends in too much! It would also add to the lore if they progressed from the stone machinery to now copper machines. (maybe you could have some old/broken/extinct machines piled in corners or old, vacant storage rooms)

Shortly after the steam where Impulse try to put yellow horse armor on the horse, Xisuma uploaded a video covering a bug fix regarding the leather horse armor not keeping it's colour. Coincidence?

Xisuma was watching either Pearl's or Impulse's stream. He immediately went on to test the bug they experienced - you can see him say "I jsut did a test" in chat at 6:16, he was referring to armour. He probably then fiddled around with it some more, and recorded a video on it. And i think Mojang already swiftly fixed it?

For the warehouse, you might also consider making it more of a garage by putting in some slightly futuresque vehicles. Think like the tunnel bores from the Lego Rock Raiders or even Atlantis, Lost Empire. Just a thought!
