I've seen several hermits get confused by the layout of your quartz shop. They've checked the first couple of boxes they see and then mentioned it's weird that you didn't sell raw quarts before leaving. You have the mod on that shows you where the boxes are and what's in them, but for everyone else, having no visible indicators for where the boxes are or what's in each one is really confusing especially when it's just a bunch of white boxes scattered in a white room.

No idea why people would have left negative comments on this video, it was so fun, a good balance of the grind and shenanigans. I figured when you first started work on the cyberpunk city and said it would eventually be some kind of game, that you were modeling it after something in MCC, so if that's what people were pissed about, they clearly do not know you very well. I think MCC style games in Hermitcraft would be really fun and I can't wait to see it all come together. Keep your chin up Impulse, you're doing great and can't wait to see Team Ties in MCC next week!!!!

Etho originally sent Scar some spam mail from a "Canadian Prince", some kind of spam like that might be funny. Also Iskall has been sending Joel a ton of notes while he is out of the country so his mailbox fills up

I live for the way that the entire server is mostly chill people who react with "oh my gosh" when something surprising happens, except for maybe xisuma with his harsh-sounding "OOAH", but Skizz reacts with "HEY! 😡😡 JERK! 🤬 How ya doin buddy 😇" I don't ever use emojis but they fit here. The way he gets mad for like, three to five seconds and then goes super chill is hilarious.

One suggestion for things to send via mail: Send out advertisements about the cyberpunk city, maybe hints for various puzzles if there will be any. Maybe one off tickets or something. Like Cleo is doing, free advertising.

maybe a good idea for using the stamps is introducing a mail order quartz service? say one of the hermits needs some quartz, but aren't going to be on for a couple days. they can pay a premium, and you send the quartz via the mail system

I saw someone saying you read every comment, so I hope you see this (even if you don’t respond). I’ve been following you since HC7 (though didn’t sub until later) and have always been very impressed by your builds and your colour schemes. I love seeing you in MCC and I have really enjoyed trying to guess your plans this season. Then you revealed them and I love the idea. MCC meets HC. I love when I see the hermits in MCC! Not what I expected but am really keen to see a mini MCC of just the hermits. Having timers and high scores, encouraging friendly competition, challenging them. Love it. Absolutely KEEN as a BEAN to see how this plays out. The reason for my comment today is because I also heard some people wernt happy about things. Believe in your idea. There are a lot of people who love what you do but rarely comment or like videos on YT. I’m sorry for my part in that, but my point is that most of the people I know love the idea and love your work.

Am I the only one who kept rewatching the tango trying to read skizz sign bit and the others reactions, that was amazing that I actually managed to giggle in the first time in over a year (vocal chord issues so unable to talk properly) so thank you for that experience again, I will go rewatch it another 20 or 50 times now! The city games sound like a great idea! It really reminds me of the tv series Alice in Borderland, which is kind of horror I think? It's about a group of people who are stuck in a city and in order to live they have to complete a variety of deadly mini games throughout.

He could also do more billboards for other hermits to decorate. Bdubs put up a billboard, but there’s usually lots and lots of advertising crowding the sky in many cyber cities. Think giga corp, big wood/salmon billboards for example.

From my own experience, I've found it's easier to get enough masons so the first one will restock by the time you've traded all the way around. Zombify them and just trade one stone for one emerald as you go whenever you need more emeralds.

I can visualise the ace race so perfectly in a delapidated dystopia. Spooky dark subway tunnels. Lights flickering on and off. Running through a stalled or derailed train with malfunctioning doors. Tridenting through cracks in the walls out of a flooded floor. Parkouring and ducking under collapsed beams, elytraing over a sinkhole that revealed something crazy like a lush cave or a desolate magma area. More jumping over fallen grates and catwalks in maintenance tunnels. Traversing big pipes. Avoiding cycling hydraulic doors. Maybe blown steam valves, Slime launchers to either hinder progress or jump to make progress. Block switchers for soul sand on the ground. A section that's Lore rich like breaking into a secret hi tech bunker or some mystical ancient city with an underground night sky. Maybe via a station platform exit. Idk there's so much you can do with this idea I can't wait to see it

9:10 the only boxes you need to check are the ones that don't show any quartz item on them since they have multiple items, ie. diamonds and quartz, and the ones that show diamonds, the rest are fine.

Love the concept and can’t wait to see how this comes together. The elevator doors made me wonder if there could be a surprise behind them later… like have to slide down sticky walls if a broke down elevator shaft, avoid cob webs and obstructions and maybe water bucket clutch as a short cut to an underground passage to another area of the city. Maybe the doors can only be opened by first finding a key (button, level, other)

Tip for findind diamonds in your shop: the shulker mod will display an item if its the only item type in the box, otherwise it shows the name. So any shulker with a diamond or text has diamonds, while the ones displaying blocks or quartz are only blocks or quartz.
