You could try out Dead by Daylight, it also allows 5 people, as far as I know. It has horror vibes, you play either one of 4 survivors or the k*ller. The survivors want to escape the map, repairing generators to open the gates, the k*ller wants to hunt them obvs. I think it could be fun for you guys to play it. Just imagine Scar as the k*ller 😂

If you want a pg-13 hide and seek game, i would recommend "witch it", you can play it with up to 16 people. There are two groups, witches and Hunters, like this game but better 😅😂

The game I would recommend is Scrap Mechanic. It's on steam and can be multiplayer (Not sure how many). It's an open-world sandbox survival (or not, it also has creative mode) game that I wouldn't call it horror, maybe horror adjacent (I've definitely gotten jumpscared more than once). It's a learning curve, but less so than phasmo (I'd still recommend *some* research). Real fun in my opinion. It's not super hard to survive (Hunger and thirst can be annoying though), but not punishing if you die. It can quickly get ridiculous with the builds you can make.

Complete agreement, after thousands of hours in that game I can confirm that it would be great for this group. It's got technical, survival, and a healthy dose of cartoony bits. Also, the next update (dropping sometime this year) is adding an expanded questing system.

Highly recommend playing Plate Up. It's a 4 player cooking game in a 2D-esc format. The goal is to design and run a resturant and get through fifteen days without a single customer complaint.

Loving the Phasmo content again, thanks as always. The biggest clue for the hantu was in the first hunt you looped it and it didn't get LoS speed increase, that plus fast and slow gives Hantu. Lack of freezing probably because it roamed a lot. One of the hunts seemed to start upstairs.

The lore behind the money paw is it's like an evil genie. It grants your wish, but twists it. You wish to see the ghost, so it manifests the ghost... and blinds you.

Does Impulse literally not see the visual cues when the deer eat? Those yellow crescents are a huge hint to the hunter, and he didn’t seem to pay attention to them at all, just what he was hearing.

He just seemed overwhelmed and like he was more focused on his confusion/frustration than to focusing on the clues. It's an understandable issue, but yeah I'd put that more on player errors than problems on the game's side (but not being able to change controls does suck).

On the insanity run with the polte you should learn to run to the garage and loop the car if the island gets too hot. That figure 8 between the island and car is what makes Tanglewood a strong map for looping ghosts.
