As a parent, with a child who has severe allergies, and has been in and out of hospitals more than the average kiddo, these carts are amazing! We live in the middle of nowhere, so I don't know if our tiny hospital will ever get one. But I know parents like me and kiddos like mine truly appreciate the fun distraction from the tough reasons kiddo's end up in the hospital. The hermits are amazing, from the content you make, to the charity work you do and I can't wait for this Saturday!

I don't know which geographic regions are in scope for the Hermits' charity, but I would say a bigger hospital would probably not miss the few carts that it would take to make a big impact in a rural hospital, and they might even give one like yours priority because of that. Possibly, the biggest issue is a lack of contact between the rural hospital and the charity. If the charity is interested, your doctor could certainly put you in touch with the hospital admins. It might be worth looking into.

Being trolled by redstone lol Tango also had the issue in DO2, and YES, it did happen on camera. He was as confused as you were here lol it's also a reason why some people in chat were pretty familiar with the issue

Can I just say that it's amazing to watch the redstone process in action? On videos I just see the quick tutorial on how it works but instead I got to watch you struggle with making it work. Helps me feel like I'm not a total idiot when it comes to redstone.

Impulse's experience doing the redstone is the exact experience I've ever had doing anything with redstone except just blindly following a tutorial and copying someone. Literally every time I design anything with redstone I have this exact same experience and frustration. Stuff never operates the exact same way twice and it's one of the big reasons I quit playing Minecraft years ago.

Instead of the bop song triggering on resetting the XP, i think it would be cool to trigger it on stepping on the pressure plate. It would give you something to listen to while waiting for the item to claim

Why the Dropper is bud powered: stepping on the pressure plate turns on the jukebox, that can bud power the dropper. stepping off the pressure plate (triggers the observer, so it ) updates the dropper to receive bud power from the jukebox.

The two by two with a pressure plate on the top hopper going into the side of the noteblock. If you increase the width by 1 block and just place a piston next to the top hopper. You can step on the pressure plate and it seems to trigger every time when you step off the pressure plate.

Update, possible neat solution for stepping onto pressure plate. Have normal 2x2, dropper up into hopper going into side of jukebox then hopper under going into dropper. Now have a sticky piston pointing down next to jukebox with an observer to send a signal into a stone block that just below dropper level and has redstone dust on top.

There's technically an option to get real grass on the stone: Grow the grass on a grass block, then use an update suppressor to replace the grass block with a stone block ;)

The 1.21 copper/tuff block update hasn't officially dropped yet. There's still hope isn't there that Mojang will fix the copper door recipe and the one that makes it possible to craft the wrong block? Playing in vanilla Minecraft without Experimental features or a data pack, what sense does it make that we would use the Stonecutter to cut copper blocks but it doesn't cut wood? There is no Metallurgist Villager. Normal business practice would dictate Impulse may consider increasing the price of his Quartz. If he were Doc, Beef or Iskall that would be the move. The trophies add a new layer to Hermit commerce. How much profit can the Hermits really expect to make in one season? This will be interesting.

Don't associate the song with the struggle, but of overcoming a problem. Mechanics never work as we think, but as something we are constantly learning from. You had three friends working on a problem, and you learning about a mechanic of the game. Might be frustrating to do on stream, for you. What I got out of it was learning with friends. Love your videos. I would recommend a podcast that can help you. It's called Dipple and Skumpass I think.

Concerning your electric connections, technically and IRL, You should have a high voltage circuit breaker (allows thinner cables as the current is lower), then a few transformers to tune down to 240/110V that feed the city. But since it's cyberpunk, you can have AC to AC inverters with yet unknown technology ;) I think you did a great job there. You indeed might use a thicker cable coming out of the building and a connector box on the pole, but that is not obligatory as they can be split up in the building too. One of the Cyberpunk ideas is that things are made and repaired with what is at hand? Idea's for names: Impulse Nation (or Faction), that would be Impulsnation in german btw. Impulse Departement (as in french metropole departments). Impulse Metropole or (I)Metropulse. Metro comes from metropolitain (fr.) btw. Anyway, I'd use names that represent areas and are void of any historical meaning. District, Department, Canton and such are (at least to me) words that mean heavy organised areas with a potential totalitarian value. The german word "Kreis" is also a nice word for this and that could become "Impulswahlkreis". But maybe not your favorite lol. If we go the other way, you could use the words cradle, nest, hive, eyrie, den, lair, refuge, Nook of Impulse,.. Curious what you come up with. Keep up the good work!!

I'm pretty sure all you need to do to fix the bud powering dropper issue is to power a piston from the jukebox pointed so the head extends past the dropper. When the disc starts playing, the piston will extend. When it stops, it'll retract and SHOULD update the dropper so it will work 100% of the time. In theory ANYTHING that creates a block update in an adjacent block to the dropper should fix the issue. Which was also why it started working for you on the surface; the disc going into the hopper was updating the dropper to be unpowered. Java is weird.

Instead of dropper into 4 hoppers to noteblock then 2 hoppers back, Because the dropper & noteblock are in cardinal line direction, Have dropper into 2 hoppers to the noteblock which is on a diagonal, Then from noteblock 2 hoppers back into the dropper.. 2x2 instead of 3x2.. ie Key = DR = Up facing Dropper NB = Noteblock ➡️⬇️⬅️⬆️ = Hoppers & Their side facing. No down facing, Just side facing.. Top layer seen from above = Dropper under this hopper -> ➡️⬇️ NB Bottom layer seen from above = DR ⬆️⬅️
