I am loving these videos. These videos show why it's important to go to a trained professional. My hair is very curly, and coarse textured so finding a good stylist ant easy. When I do find a talented stylist I stick to them.

Wonderful PSA on safety measures - my grandmother passed at the beginning of this month after getting COVID. I'm higher risk with asthma but go to the office everyday because they still have us going in. We're really not essential. And I can work from home easily. I do once a week. Ugh.

This makes me feel lucky to have curly hair. I can give myself a decent haircut because once it curls up, minor unevenness won't show. I definitely have to work hard to make sure the back is high enough though.

It's really sad when at the end she asks for comments on whether it looks good or not. Not so much that, but she says that SHE likes it and thinks it looks good, but she might be wrong and might be lying to herself. Could it be better? It can always be better, but if YOU like it, that's all that matters. You don't need other people to tell you if you should like your hair or if you should think you look terrible. It's a sad reality that social media has given us this habit of seeking the approval of strangers on the internet. I know I'm making a big deal of something small, but she's so young and I just want her to feel confident in herself and have her own opinion instead of asking strangers what her opinion should be. ❤️

That’s how I found Mr. Buddha 🎉 I grew up in the late 80s early 90s - we would use sun in spray products in our hair and then color with kool- aid to dye it !!! One common mistake that is made is the ears. People don't take into consideration the shape of the ears. Some stick out quite far while others are much smaller. Another thing... if people are going to wear their hair behind their ears then it should be cut behind the ears.
