Sure there is alot of tension in the state in regards to seperation and seeking independent government but that's not for you or me to decide if that comes to fruition. Till the time the gov doesn't change it, I'll consider it part of this country. And as far as geography, linguistics, culture and cuisine is concerned. Yes it's different and its is meant to be. We have people living in deserts and hills and plains speaking various languages and cooking up a storm of different dishes, while communicating in more languages and localised dialects, which changes over mere 100km or so. But that's okay, that's what make this country what it is. Saying that it's a wrong to call it traditional Indian food, is something I disagree with. Traditions are meant to be unique, heck traditionally you aren't suppose to eat meat during Navratri and il be damned if I stay away from meat that time, so tradition at my house is polar opposite to say at someone else's house following the same religion living in my locality. And that's okay. You do not agree with my ideas and neither do I. But I do hope that you see the point I stand by as I do yours. P.s. I also know our government is doing fucked up job at resolving the status in Kashmir but hey it's out of our control unless you are part of the governing body which I'm not. Cheers mate!
