I think what you are calling a bigger problem of ummmah is actually a symptom rather a problem of a way more serious underlying problem and that is failure of muslim scholars to successfully address the problems of modern times and specially in the domain of politics and science. So what I see is that major part of islamic scholarship of recent times have failed to solve the bigger problems of humanity specially problems which are related with science and political problems and that's why the phenomena of popping up of random people who are trying to challenge orthodox is becoming more and more frequent.

Yes there are problems with Islamic scholars but this does not mean we start learning from self taught people. There are a lot of doctors and lawyers who are corrupt also. This does not mean you start going to street vendors to get your health fixed or case resolved. These people are more like street vendors who learn by experimenting on people. Just like we search for the best doctors we have to search for the best scholars. We end up with these people because we dont value our religion. We are the problem here.

@@dr.muhammadadeel i agree with you that we must work hard to find real scholars to learn from them, but the real problem is that by choice islamic scholarship is not working to solve the political problems which in turn opens door for all sorts of diseases in Ummah. you and I know very well that our ulama are classic example of being secular because they believe and openly say that we should not interfere into politics and ulama never present political aspect of islam. For example, the issue of Israel- Palestine have mobilised the whole world but here in India i never heard anything from any aalim about this bleeding part of the body of the Ummah.I am sorry I can't blame common man because if leadership is not doing its job very well then followers can't be blamed.

@@dr.muhammadadeel on one hand ulama don't want common man to study islam by themselves ( which I understand why) and on the other hand they don't preach the complete islam.

@@naseemahmad123 In my view what you said is completely incorrect. I have self studied extensively. Alhamdulillah I know enough Arabic to understand the Quran. I have studied Tafseer and Hadith also. No one stops you. I know a lot of people who are non-Arabs and they don't even know the translation of Surah Fatihah. This is not the mistake of Ulama. Its our incompetence. I never met a scholar who stopped me from learning. What Ulama always ask is that you stay consistent with the Ijma of the Ummah and seek guidance from experts. Most Muslims cant understand this simple thing and end up blaming the Ulama. Now tell me, have you ever tried learning Arabic?

@@dr.muhammadadeel I have very recently started learning Arabic. My point is why muslim scholarship did the separation between church and state and by the way I not blaming whole scholarship but a major segment of recent ulama doesn't think that secularism is against islamic belief system which is a very basic but disastrous mistake.

Sheikh Imran is 100x better than you. If you get a problem with him ... Address it to him directly. And ask yourself how many people did you make to think in a different way. How many did you convert to islam. You should keep to you class and don't go to the sheikh who have 50+ more knowledge than you. Dear people don't listen to these young people who can't even stand in the sheikh s footsteps.

I never claim I have more knowledge than him. Also, more knowledge means nothing if he does not know how to respect the scholars. As mentioned in many Hadith, there will be a lot of people with knowledge who will end up in hell fire. Knowledge must accompany humility which he lacks when he calls anyone who disagrees with him as having 5 rupees of common sense.

Stop castigating other scholars....they only offer and opinion....if you think their opinion is wrong.....and you have the correct one then offer it....time and events will tell who is right and who is wrong.....rather than going over what some scholar have said to make your point....because obviously, there are alot of question that scholar need to address in this modern world

I have said what I have to say. I think the correct opinion is to stick to the Ijmaa of the Ummah. Imran Hosein thinks he is right and everyone who disagrees with him has less than 5 rupees of common sense. He does not even know how to respect the scholars and the Ijmaa of the Ummah.

Dear .you haven't understand the quran yet. Instead of giving advice to people solving problems. You criticize scholars and others. Discussing in secret or in pub public is the work of shaitaan(mentioned in the quran). You're inviting people to follow your fatwas. Which marjaa are you following. Hoping you are not creating sectarian movement

I am inviting no one to follow me. I want people to learn the basics of Islam from genuine scholars not from people like Imran Hosein.
