The best outcome for the BJP is to win the central election and lose all states barring the big three, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar. Anything else is a bonus, like Uttarkhand or Rajasthan or the North east, where they expect to retain power for at least a decade and maybe try to come to power in west bengal but that is not possible.
