IMRC #3 Mazda runner control repair diagnose code P2006 cx-7 Ford edge 2.3L

IMRC POSITION SENSOR / THROTTLE SENSOR I'm very sorry I tried several times to upload these several short videos on the IMRC repair as one continuous video but failed so they are labeled party 1-8. video of diagnosing and repairing parts related to engine code p2006 (intake manifold runner control valve stuck closed) for 07 08 09 & 2010 Mazda 2.3 L turbo Mazda CX-7 and Ford edge but this motor and runner control setup is similar in many Fords and Mazdas so it could be helpful for other vehicles. There is a separate video I did from last year that is just how to replace the intake manifold runner control valve.

Did you find a source for that plunger switch? It looks like they only sell it as part of the intake manifold. Mine is bad on my Mazdaspeed3

Yes you can buy the switch through Mazda but it's much cheaper onlineI found mine by searching throttle position switch or throttle sensor throttle position sensor you'll end up getting the one for the man the throttle body pop up as well but I definitely was able to find a few sources for it by searching throttle sensor for 07 CX-7 that's what mine was but it's probably the same switch for yours? If you can't find it let me know and I will find it and send you a link okay

What was the car running like when you had this problem?

I have tha same issue. I replaced the valve but the plastic part is broken and the sensor is not been pushed. Did you solve it?

Yeah i bent the bracket and changed the angle so the broken piece lines up with the switch. I have more videos and let me know if you have more questions

No I can’t tell ,you need to turn off your light so it may be better

You can also remove those butterflies

but that won't solve the problem of having to check engine light when they won't let you pass emissions still got to figure out a way to get that switch to go on and off when the computer thinks it should be

Damn man u keep moving the camera. U should just focus it facing the engine.
