Tip for your basil plant: pinch from the top and it will continue to get bushier/fuller. Really, the more you pinch and use, the healthier it is and more it grows!

Pastel purple and butter yellow 💜💛 Prismacolor has clear pencils for blending! Trick is to have a light hand with the colours you're blending for the best effect, water won't really work for blending pencil crayons or making them 'smooth'. 🎨 Love timing my lunch break with your vlogs!

White😜. I like the aqua brushes, I felt the same as you but after messing around and just doing sample strokes, blending and shading on some practice pages I really enjoyed them. Just keep a few paper towels or a cloth close by, squeeze into something to rinse and wipe. They also work nice with the palette because you can control the water. The finest tip works well for details.❤

Just on watercolour paints, I’ve had the same Schmincke Akademie Aquarelle set for 15 years and it has never steered me wrong. Expensive but the quality is so good, if you are looking to step up your game, I highly recommend. I got it when I studied art at uni and I’ve traveled all over Europe with it too, painting in parks and from balconies etc, it’s the best. X Jenelle
