I’ve been decluttering my apartment too. You definitely do not know how much stuff you have until you decide to declutter. Your place looks so good and organized even before you are decluttering. I’m happy with how my own decluttering is going and I am close to being done my own decluttering. I only have 2 rooms left to go through to finally be done all my decluttering. Once I am done it’ll be so much easier to clean.

I’ve watched you since 2015 and I am exactly like you with “procrastination” turns out I have adult ADHD, I know you looked into that and decided against the meds but I’m on a low dose of concerta and holy moly! It has helped me so so much with my brain organizing and time management and getting things done and keeping things clean!

Hihi, I think we can agree that we all get the procrustination bug from time to time, regardless of what time of year it is. As someone who is also fellow adhd, I felt that need to put things off, its so hard to fight when you feel as though you don't have the energy to do even the simplest of small things but instead end up just staring at it and thinking about how you want to do it without actually touching it[if that makes sense]. I find the hardest thing when decluttering is figuring out what to do with items that are/were expensive at the time, cause its always the mood of well we spent yey much money on this and it's barely been used... its just hard to be like okay you can go, to an item, when you still feel the need to use those items when you do rediscover it. Wishing you the best of luck on your venture of cleaning ahead, maybe its high time I also stopped procrustinating and got to my mass of clutter that desperately needs to be looked at... can't always just keep waiting for the next weekend can we? Lol😂.
