I know this is a joke but just in case for other who want to play this like a souls game, it is actually more efficient to keep those elite enemies for later once you kill enough mob to lvl your chance of elite enemies dropping better item so killing them early will punish you by decreasing efficiency completely different from souls game

The best tip I can give is to kill the inferno rider immediate when the game allow you to. His echo is pretty essential when you want to go farm enemies or unlock the map.

And the most important beginner's tip: Don't devour this game within a week, otherwise you'll end up complaining that there's "no content" by the end of the month. I'm currently only leveling up by defeating enemies. It's fun cuz I'm not OP yet and I'm actually getting leveled up slowly, not insta 20/20. Hell I even once died again that big mushroom enemy. Haven't had this much fun since I've started Genshin in 2021 and before I made the mistake of overleveling my whole roster within a week.
