I can prove that this is not fake. the file used to generate the world is corrupted, causing huge errors in the world Generator. those "wall like stuff" on the world are corrupted chunks, which is 16x16. if this was edited from MCEdit, the sizes of those missing/corrupted chunks will not be 16x16. the world generator uses seeds, but when an error happened while generating it, this happens. The reason why this happens is: There was a calculation error, in procedural maps, a single error in the calculation will cause everything wrong later. Just like in Algebra, if one number is wrong, everything else under it is wrong. BTW, Those kids Bragging about their programming skills are funny. but unable to find differences from fake and not fake in this video.

Johnny Taylor I'm a former Mod Developer, and is now a Part-Time Game Developer,(Currently Creating a Game Engine), and at the same time, a Computer Engineering Student. "those "wall like stuff" on the world are corrupted chunks, which is 16x16." ill explain it in the most simple, non-programmer level explanation. Its very similar to a Jigsaw Puzzle, you place each pieces in its correct places, eventually creating a full image. That is how Minecraft does the world generation, but with a little twist. Minecraft "Places" those "Pieces", as the player moves around, at the same time, Minecraft "Creates" the "pieces" itself. If Minecraft makes a mistake on "Creating" those pieces, This (the map in the video) happens, creating errors on the entire infinite map. BTW, this World gen error already occurred to me as well, although the village is not this dense, but there was a lot of village, underwater villages, water level is too high, Plains Biome only (No trees, not even a single grass, but there is a lot of mountains.) and i spawned in a cave, Minecraft 1.2.5, no Customizable map generator at those time.

Chances are very low, those devices have been optimized to run on correct timings between the CPU and RAM. Chances are higher in PCs, but still a very rare case. Some PCs have wrong timings between the CPU and RAM, causing misread/skipped information. Errors can also happen in the Hard disk itself, writing the wrong bit instead of the correct one.

The village is unexplainable but the cube terrain is something that happens when new biome changes were made in an update. Whenever you you then load new chunks, it generates in a new way. Btw i have sort off had the same glitch with the village, but with my house, and centainly my whole world was full off rustic houses :D

I had a similar situation with the world I'm currently using. When I first started playing I didn't explore enough to really notice anything strange. When I finally did, I found a village, but it was flooded? Villagers still living there, but no stairs to the houses or crops (all houses and crops were elevated about 4 blocks above water). I fixed everything, made stair to homes and crops. They repayed me by destorying it again slowly. They will not go inside at night either. They all huddle by a floating fence post with a torch on top.. very strange. Tried putting in the same seed on another world, and it did the same thing.

To help you understand what the difference between world coruption and seed coruption I will give an example. For example, if 2 people had the same messed up DNA, both of them will look the same (thats seed coruption). But if a baby in his mom's stomach gets hit really hard while its in his mom's stomach, it will ruin the growth process (that's world coruption)

I had a corrupted seed before! It had huge walls everywhere. It was weird. Also, u can get corrupted superflat worlds so theres just chunks that are elevated to max height I think.

Switching from whatever version added superflat (1.1.0 I think) to previous version would cause any new terrain to generate normally, very weird.

Oh geez, that is way worse than what happened with my world. I settled in an ice biome (because I wanted to make a Game of Thrones Hardhome settlement where the White Walkers lived in the Ice Spikes) and I was making a bridge over a frozen lake...well I exited the game and later I loaded it up and right where I was standing there was an unloaded chunk of land and a hole that went to the void and a creeper just sitting in a cave. Im so glad that when i closed the game and reloaded it, it was fine.
